Had fun with WOT on my Win98 PC, but couldn't get it to work with XP even under Win98 emulation mode, and many other reviews I found had the same problem. But good news, it works on Vista Premium and presumably other versions as well if you run it in Win98 emulation mode! So, dig out your old copy and have another shot at it once you get Vista.
Best fps ever! A game requiring thought as well as reflex!

I bought this game some years ago & absolutely loved it!!! The single player is good, & the multi-player has to be seen to be believed! Many offensive and defensive items & endless combo moves. I am a fan of the books & found the environment true to the books for the most part. At times I would walk into an area & recognize it from the description in the books. I felt I was able to immerse myself in the wot universe.
Impressive.

It is a good game.. it is by no means great or genre bending but a good game all the same. Single player is enjoyable.. and detail levels are absolutely magnificient.(I especially liked the whitecloak fortress'and the city of shadar logoth is truly terrifying). In addition to this multiplayer is alot of fun. Using different spell combinations to incapacitate foes is perhaps the greatest star this game has to its name.
