If you like shoot em up and blow em uo games you should like this tile as much as I do. With other games out like Quake 3 and Soldier of Fortune this might be over looked. This game rocks! and ALL you hardcore gamers out there should take a look and see what you have been missing. THIS IS A MUST BUY!

The only game I play now

Unreal Tournament is awesome, especially with my T1 connection at work. I like when heads fly off competitors that I kill.

We've bought Quake III and a bunch of other games this past year, but UT is the only game I play now.

great game, but not for Windows NT

I think this is great, maybe the greatest game i've ever played, but on my operating system (windows NT) I can't get it to run on full screen, only a 4x6 inch window. I've tried everything, even changing some .INI files but it still won't work! My dad is a programmer and he can't get it to work in full! when u make the window larger, the resolution goes higher, and it doesn't run on my comp cuz its only a 333MHz Pentium II. If you want a game that is easier to operate and start, stick with half life or counterstrike. Maybe the patch i downloaded was bugged or it didn't work right, I'm not sure. The AI is excellent and the internet play rocks. hopefully i will get it to run :) -good luck :)

Outstanding game!

This is a game that is very addictive. The graphics and gameplay are outstanding. The levels are more than enough to keep you occupied for months. If you like crazy shooter games, this is the top of the top. Simply amazing. This is more of a GO-NUTS and shoot anything that moves near you type game - it is very fast paced. You can't go wrong with this game. Trust me.

I bought both UT and QA, and was eager to run them on my 96MB PIII-500 with high speed University LAN connection.

Quake Arena ran really well with all graphics features (except trilinear) turned on at 800x600, and handled more than 12 non-bot players admirably on multiplay. Net connections were smooth at 100 ping.

Unreal Tournament, on the other hand, chugged even on 512x384 with lowest detail settings, and had choppy net play. That's really disappointing considering UT had far more gameplay innovations and cooler features (I love Domination).

The bottom line is: unless you have a 128MB PIII-600 with a Voodoo 3000 (or better), don't buy it.

Good Deathmatch

This game is quite good. Has a lot of eye candy that can take away from the Deathmatch experience, but plays very well. If you can only get one first person shooter I would recomend Quake 3 Arena, but if you can get two, this would be my second recomendation.

If you are hooked on first person shooters, but this game. Try the demo version first, if you like buy the retail version. I love this game. I run a 450 PII with 128 mgs of RAM. You will be hooked. Play over the internet is way better than Quake III arena. Just buy this game.

This is a mature game and you guys might thing that im too young ...This game is kind of like Red Faction ,but actually better.This game will keep you glued to your seat for hours.

This is the fastest paced (put it on turbo),hardest hitting, adreneline infused FPS game out there. Awesome weapons, including chainsaws, rocket launchers, and electric cannons are everywhere! Some of the greatest boards in FPS history. The on-line competition is incredibly tough. Unreal Tournament players are nuts! I'm addicted!

I have had this game for a while now. It is one of the best games I have ever played. It has great MULTIPLAYER. It is very challanging and addicting! The object of the game is to well, win. You have to try not to die. There are many bad guys with huge guns. You also have a chance to acquire huge guns. There are many levels like capture the flag and deathmatch. I like the mission level the best though. This game is worth the money!
