AMAZING game. Just a few flaws.

I TOTALLY DISAGREE with Gamespot's Ron Dulin...what is he thinking??? This game is top-quality, and just like all LucasArts games, you get stuck once in awhile. The hard-to-see third person angle can easily be changed by the way by using the command "naughty naughty". Buy the game! Don't be swayed by Gamespot's terrible review job!

Better than the Gungan Frontier and Star Wars Racer!

Okay, so people rate this game really bad. But they're only doing it so they won't be embarrased. The Graphics are stupendis and the sound is 100% awesome. I like how you can be Queen Amidala, Qui-Gon Jinn, Captain Panaka, and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Even though I'm stuck at the part where you have to guide the Queen to the hangar at her ship, it's still SWEET! I give this game 100 thumbs up!

Exciting....Good Graphics

Very exciting game. A little easy but exciting. The puzzles and some of the challenges were great. Despite the bad characters(Queen Amidala and Panaka) this game was good. Although character changes can be fixed with a cheat.

A good, solid game, especially for the price!

I too was completely amazed that Gamespot trashed this game...if you read the review, they wanted another Jedi Knight-like first-person shooter, which TPM is NOT. It is, however, a good game. Not perfect, mind you - but the first time you take out a group of Battle Droids with your lightsaber you'll go nuts. Download the demo, and if you like it, buy this game immediately! At this price, with the $10 rebate, you really can't go wrong. If you liked the movie, you'll really enjoy the game.

This game is awesome! It has stunning graphics and the levels are cool. It also rocks when tou fight Darth Maul Both times. The Jedi are good characters, but I also like Panaka. This game is also very chalanging and has cool weapons. One downfall is you need a 3D card accelerator to play it. BUY THIS GAME! And, *May the Force be with you*

*GET THIS GAME!

I thought that this was definitely the BEST Star Wars game ever! The different characters, bartering (Watto's Shop), the graphics! Definitely a 5 star game. Played for hours and going strong!

Excellent Game!

I have this game for Playstation, and it is great. I finished the game in a week! It took me 16 hrs 57 mins and 4 secs. I love the final battle. Playing 2 different roles was cool. Defeating Darth Maul was not that hard. I used a light repeating blaster and found a secret medi -pack. Star Wars fans will adore this superior, fast - paced, mind boggling, action packed game . 5 out of five for sound, 5 out of 5 for action. Get this game. NOW!

Better than the Jedi Knight!

Using the strategy guide helps, but it isn't always right. I have beat it twice. In Mos Espa, try not to kill anyone but the beast, and a few others, if you kill one wrong person, everyone attacks you and Anakin may decide not to help you. remember "There are alternatives to fighting" sometimes you should just run. When guiding the queen don't go to far ahead or she will be killed. The final level, with the queen, after you destroy the enemies in the hall near the throne room destroy the statues, there is a health pack. Coruscant is fun, as it has to do with the queen being kidnapped and you must rescue her. Don't take out the battle droids, under the archway while escorting the queen, just move quickly and dodge them. You can't destroy the tanks. Qui-Gon is the person you travel with who provides the most help, Panaka takes out droids but is not as much help. Maul is fun to fight, when i survive, and the graphics during scene transitions are better than the rest. At the end you receive a rating and info on how well you beat each level, the higher the better, my highest is a 9 the lowest a 4.

Great game

I really enjoyed this game. It had many impressive weapons,as well as the tactics used to deploy them. Have no fear, parents. This game dishes out dire consequences if the kids start killing innocent sentience, meaning that you can't go on a killing rampage and live to tell about it. This game has a moderate amount of solvable puzzles, and bosses that will keep you interested. The only puzzle that will have you throw the computer out the window is the trading in the Mos Espa level. I like a challenge. It personally didn't bother me, but the graphics had flaws(most of which I found humourous). For example, if you try to talk to someone with your lightsaber up, as you talk, your saber will be coming out the back of the person's head, without harming them. My only disapointment is that there is no lightsaber dueling. You get into a fight with Darth Maul, on several occasions, but you can't block his saber, and visa-versa, which means it is a bloodbath(figure of speech, there is no blood)between the two of you. It is true that the final battle with Maul is somewhat easy, but that is what the skill codes are for. In short, if your looking for a good game without needless killing, this is it. As for replayability, I've had The Phantom Menace for two years, and I still play it.
