Fun game

This game is just an exact copyoff of Crazy Taxi, but in Springfield with Simpsons characters. So if you liked Crazy Taxi, and you're a Simpsons fan, you might like this game. But I don't recommend it if you already have Crazy Taxi.

I'm a long time Simpsons fan.If you like The Simpsons, you'll just love this game! You can be characters, like Grandpa Simpson and Groundskeeper Willie! "An Instant 5-star classic" for Simpsons fans. "A must get!" It sure beats Crazy Taxi or any of those other car games.

This game was a lot of fun when I first got it. The graphics are very nice and all the characters are in it. It is just like crazy taxi, so if you liked that you'd like this game. I just love driving up to bumble be man, and here him say,"Ay chiuaua" just before I run him down. A big problem with this game is replay value. I can get very old very quickly because of the repetative gameplay. I would rent this a couple times, and if you still like it as muck as you first played it, then you should buy it.

The plot is simple, the controls are easy to learn and master, your objectives are easy to understand. 5 minutes after loading the game the first time, you will know exactly what you have to do, and be able to do it. The slowest learning curve is getting to know the layout of the city. But you won't be lost before you get the hang of it. You have a map at the bottom of the screen, and an arrow pointing you in the direction you need to go.

The game moves in a very linear fashion, but with a few diversisons or upgrades that keeps the game a little fresher. You main objective is to earn enough money in the taxi business to buy back Springfields transit system. So if you play the game long enough, you will win, whether you are good or not so good. Along the way, you can unlock other drivers, or parts of town. Each driver comes equiped with their own car, which reacts differently to your controls. Speed demons will enjoy one car, control freaks another, and those of us who don't care about the rules of the road and just want to plow over any cars that get in their way will have their favorites as well.

The object is simple, and pretty much the same as "Crazy Taxi". You drive around town, picking up passengers, then dropping them off at their destination as fast as possible. Occassionally, you we have the chance to avoid traffic, or break stuff for extra points. As you drive around town, the driver and passenger banter back and forth, and these interactions make the game much more enjoyable than crazy taxi, especially if you are a simpsons fan. If you get bored of the main mission, there are a few side games you can play.

This is not the sort of game you are going to be able to play for more than an hour or so at a time, but it is very enjoyable, and I still find myself picking it up every once and a while for another couple of games.

The game is awesome. It is a simple game with no real point which is a relief nowadays with all these games with deeper plots than most movies. If you need a break from FFX or any other deep rooted saga,than this is it. Plus the whole family can enjoy it.

Crazy Taxi with a bunch of Simpsons Cliche's Thrown In

This game is basically Crazy Taxi with a lot of Simpsons characters driving different vehicles. Lots of fun with 2 players, I've spent countless hours challenging people, but is quite boring after a while if only one player is playing. Still at 19.99 this game was worth the money.

When you play this game it might be hard at first but if you keep playing it it will be fun and pretty easy.This game is way better then crazy taxi by it having the simpsons charactors being their same old funny selfs and crazy taxi it is so hard to pass a level.So buy Road Rage instead!!!

The simpson's road rage is an odd but entertaining game. The graphics are great as well as the sound and display of everything. The voices for the active driver's are amazing! You have to earn other levels and driver's by doing the road rage choice. You start out with these available people to drive, Homer, Bart, Lisa, Marge, and Grandpa. As they drive around, when they drive into something, sometimes Homer lets out cuss words and he also says odd things too. Different cars go faster, slower, and each driver has their own personal car. The first level available is Springfiel itself, with Homer's house, the Quick-E mart, the school and alot of other places. I rented this game, I loved it, so I bought it. I think that this game is worth the money. And it makes you laugh hard. I don't know about other people but, this game gets my vote.

The most fun you can have driving.

I know this is a teen rated game, due to the violence and some bad words, but my pre-pre teens love it. Once you get the hang of driving it's great. I play with my kids and have yet to win as they are better at it than me. My three year old daughter loves watching the t.v. show and has gotten the driving part down pretty good. She just whips the car in reverse to get unstuck and away she goes. The teen rating pertains to what in my opinion is some mild violence and some swearing by Homer. It's a lot like the t.v. show. It's just great fun and entertaining.

The game is very addicting.Funny phrases, especially Ralph with,"Take me home please, the leprachaun told me to burn things." You will have so much fun with this game. The problem is it gets boring after a while. My advice is when you play shut it off for an hour or two and then play again. Matt Groening (Creator) did a great job!! I give it 4 1/2 stars.
