The Urbz is even better than The Sims Bustin' Out! It's really fun and you can do many things. There are six levels per six missions and you're supposed to stop Daddy BigBucks from taking over the city and making everyone pay for everything.
Seriously, I played this and this only untill I beat it.

This game is very fun, has good sound, and I played this and this only untill I beat it! This game is much more fun than the new Sims 2 for Nintendo Ds, but the graphics in the Urbz are nothing compared to the Sims 2 DS Edition. This game is almost exactly the same as its gameboy edition, but with one new place - Splicer Island! On Splicer Island, you can create your own pets (Like unicorns and Apes), and play 2 new mini-games. At the end, (SPOILER) There is a time machine that lets you go back to a place in The Sims Bustin Out for GBA (in simvalley) . But...you can only go to one place in simvalley, you can't talk to anybody, and the onlything you can do is steal a chicken. So yeah, I got jipped on that part after going to a cheat site and seeing it say that it was ALL of the simvalley when it actually was just a farm. (END SPOILER) This game rocked out loud, so you should get it ASAP and if you don't have a Nintendo DS, just get it for the GBA. This game is a Must-Have.

This game is probably the best game for the DS. The storyline is pretty good and it is much morre entertaining then the computer Sims.
Storyline: 5/5
Graphics: 3/5
Gameplay: 4/5
The only problem I have with this game is that when you are trying to get to a place and a sim is in front of the entrance, it's very difficult to get in. Also they kind of droped the sims theme. Now just living in your house is boring and is very annoying when your sim has to take a piss. Once, my toilet was stolen and I couldn't get another one (It is also very hard to get a specific piece of furniture) So I had to pee on the sidewalk and then I would get taken to jail.
The game is very addictive and its good things overweigh its bad. If you are looking to buy a DS game, this is the one.
Pretty Good

This is a great and fun game. You can create your own person and live life in the city. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because you dont use the touch screen verry often and you never use the mic. The graphics are a little better than the GBA but it isn't the noticable. But overall it's a pretty good game.

First you get to choose gender, color, clothing and finally what kind of "rep" you want - streetie, artie, nerdie or richie. After all that you finally get to the story - and what a story! You start out life as a janitor, get fired, thrown into jail and must do battle against Daddy Bigbucks, who is trying to take over the City. Now when I say "battle" I mean "battle of wits". There is no killing, dying, et al. So anybody who likes this kind of thing - DON'T BUY THIS GAME. But for the rest of us who do, this is one of the cleverest games I've come across. I've played it a dozen times, and always find something new. (By the way, you can save 4 times and not lose your character.)
It's a little complicated, but definitely fun. The EA guys really worked hard on this one. It's very clever, not easily mastered (there's quite a few mini-games, not to mention keep your Sim from passing out!).
So if you enjoy SIMS on your PC you will definitely love this game.

Having a low-tech computer that won't take the Sims computer games, I have all 3 of the ones for my gameboy. And this is the funnest one of them all. I've always loved the whole New York city theme, so that's what really attracted me to this game. It's very enjoyable to play.

Oh goodness. This was a big disapointment of the sims games. The graphics are very sad. This is a DS for crying out loud! They could do better. Making relationships with other citizens is very boring. The Women like to talk about fashion and money, and the guys like to talk about sports and cars. This requires hit the "a" but repeatedly over & over until you cant take it anymore. There are some fun mini games, but you don't really have a job. If you come across this game, leave it there. However, if you are a really good fan of the series, you should pick it up anyways. The Urbz: The Sims made a fluke...
Pretty Awesome...

The Urbz is a great game for the NDS.
When you start out, you are asked to create a person and choose their clothes. The only problem is, there aren't many styles of hair, colors or styles of clothes. But the clothes they have are fine. Another thing: Whenever I chose the afro hair for a character the game play wasn't the way it should be. This is a real problem that needs to be solved.
Also, during this time, you will be asked to answer questions that decide what rep group you are. You will get rep points throughout the game by talking to people in differet rep groups. Since I have yet to complete the game, I am not quite sure in the long run how it matters what rep group you are in.
So once you create a person, you are stuck in an apartment with a new job. You meet a girl named Kris and she asks you to do things, whick finally ends you up in jail. Once there, you can start exploring.
It's sometimes difficult to complete missions, but I found looking at www.gamefaqs.com for hints was helpful.
I would compare this game to the Sims (for PC) except the graphics are worse and the whole point is to complete missions.
I really enjoy the music, it's really catchy. (You might find yourself singing it in the shower!)
Overall, I thought the Urbz is great and I recommend you buy it if you enjoy simulation games like The Sims 2 or you would like to try something new.

Urbz: Sims in the City is an awesome game I'd recommend to just about anyone. The reason the fun of the game is only 4 stars, is because sometimes you have to do something repetetively in certain parts of the game. It has a great plotline, and includes many characters from the first sims game (for gba), the Sims: Bustin Out. The story or main "issue" as I call it is that a greedy old billionaire is trying to take over Miniopolis. The goal of the game is to try and save Miniopolis from turning into something terrible. You complete the missions as you go along, some being weirder than others. Work your way up to the top of the charts, becoming the most popular urb in Miniopolis. It's a great game almost anyone will love.
