to me this game does'nt have a fun factor it is way over hiped i had it and never ever wanted to play it ,its very dull and boring your mainly walking around very very slowly while the game glitches every few seconds i just dont understand why this game got the great awards and ratings it did. i was dissapointed in it, or maybe im just old school .

Not what I expected

I bought this game because I saw the great reviews and awards it received so I decided to give it a try. Sadly enough this game is not what I expected it to be. I do acknowledge though that Oblivion has great graphics and gives players numerous places to explore. I personally didn't enjoy the game much, but I am willing to give it another chance if in the future there is a special edition since I refuse to pay an additional $30 for the Shivering Isles extension pack. Strangely enough, I do find myself recommending this game to any RPG fan out there.

Okay you bought oblivion well it pretty much is the best rpg currently available. Ill come right out and say this game is almost unbeatable. There are so many life options you dont know what to do. You could go on the main quest and enjoy that, or join a guild and run off with that. You can get so off on the game that sooner or later it sucks. I would recomend that you buy the game but that you stay on the main quest because if you wander off the game will start to drive you crazy with BOREDOM. Buy the game its a great game if your only gonna play it for a month or to but after that its just dead weight. Great graphics. Great gameplay. Not a memory hogger. Buy it. Enjoy it.

Please comment on this review to help me, on my 360 all other games work great but Oblivion. I've had it for 2 two days now.The first day it worked fine. Now it freezes when I pause, go to my inventory, go in and out of doors, when it loads areas, or sometimes randomly and it all takes anywhere from 5 seconds to 5 minutes. And it happens every 10-15 seconds, sometimes less. Also load times have been extra long. Please comment to help me out!!

So close to being perfect

Graphics are excellent, the game is epic in scope, it's insanely addictive, blah blah blah blah.

The only problem I have with Oblivion is the fact that, if you steal something from someones house, when nobody's home, a guard will show up and arrest you. Also, the button to stand is the same as when you're given the option to take something. My character has been arrested a few times because he got caught stealing when he simply wanted to stand-up. Lesson: make sure you're not facing anything when you get up.

Fantastic role player

If you have thirty hours a day to waste this is the game for you. There are a lot of ways to play this game. The graphics are great, and it keeps getting better and better.

Microsoft releases yet another buggy product

Minus the bugs, this game would be perfect in all regards: the graphics were crazy good, the interactivity made the whole thing a pleasure to play, the 'sims'-like AI....

See how the review just stopped all of a sudden? That's what the game was *constantly* doing to me; that's why this game gets 3 stars. Small bugs are to be expected, but there was one quest that could not be completed AT ALL because the game would freeze. I didn't have the connection speed to make XBox-Live an option (I was on dial-up), and so I don't frankly care what updates are available; by God, I want a finished game! Don't use me to beta test this thing!

After the bug problems I had with Morrowind (even with the 'game of the year' edition, or whatever), this just did it for me. I will no longer bother with XBox. Playstation 2 has plenty of good games, thank you very much.

So much fun!

Loved the story line, loved the characters. I have no complaints against this game. To me, it is a masterpiece. A very satisfying game.
