To anyone who love the Dragon Warrior games, a friend of mine told me that Dragon Warrior III for Game Boy Color is coming this summer -- probably in July!
Now I'll enjoy with English!

Originally, I have played Super-Nintendo version in Japan. (It is called "Dragon Quest.")
This game is kinda old, but is still a good classic RPG. Now I will enjoy to play the same game with English language. I wonder what all monsters' names will be.

For people that like fighting monsters here is your game! This game is fun but you get stuck easily. But other than that it is pretty cool.
Great for the memories, but....

This is not a criticism of the original Dragon Warrior 1 and 2 games, to which I would give 5-stars across the board. However, the "improved" graphics, in my opinion, only made the game more cartoon-y. Sure, the original games did not have the best graphics, but I doubt anyone played them simply for the graphics.
I would by this Gameboy Color game(s) again, but it does ultimately fail to recapture the original experience.
Well......

Don't get this game unless you love RPG's. I got it since I love all RPG's and it was 2 games... . I tried and I had no idea of what to do or where to go I mean they don't give you the slightest clue of what to do after you go to Loto's grave...The battling system sucks the words go buy so fast you can't read what's going on, if you die you don't realise it till you're back at the castle.
boring

Like most RPG, this game is incredibly boring. I almost slept over it.

When I first got the game it was really cool because It was really Challenging, but once you get all three people (on II)it is so easy and you zip through the game. On I it's really easy the whole entire time and I beat the Game in 4 hours comparing it to Dragon Worrior It sorta sucks.
Not my favorite

I read rave reviews about this game in a lot of video game magazines, and was very excited to get it, but was disappointed with the outcome. It could be because I'm not an RPG fan, but the game was slow moving and reminded me of the Pokemon games, which were much funner than this. The one thing I liked about this game were the graphics. I don't recommend this game to anyone unless you like RPG games.

Dragon Warrior Monsters is a very good game. Although it may be costly, I still think it is worth it . I myself don't have it but I do know a little about it . My friend Scott, from America have it . He lend it to me. I also like it and is very, very sure you will like it too. Now Ialso have its Guide book and has some tips like the Grizzly, has the higest attacks . Although I wrote this review, I still wish that I could down load it on PC.........
A good game or two

regardless to say these are not brand new games in fact they were released over 10 years ago. That doesn't diminish there value though specialy for those of use who like old-school. DWI is a little disappointing. One character? gimmie a break. I need many. Like DWII but I also like choice. The battles are fun but the fighting engine isn't that terrific. It reminded me about RPG makers fighting engine but it was better. The story isn't a let down either. I played DWI to its near completion (I cannot find the last boss) and then played DWII. I put the games down for about a year then played again and have fallen in love with them both (more so DWII). So if you can get passed its minor number of charactors and other short-commings DWI&II are both great games.
