This is really for the experianced gamer. I have spent, well about 28 days playing my druid, and hes only level 35, but its been fun. Velious opened up a whole new icy world. The exp is great, and its acctually a chalenge to kill things (except those snow cougers ;) )Velious is harsh, dangerous, but very new and exciting. Can't wait for SoL.

EQ is the most fun you can have with a computer game. Patience and social skills required.

Each expansion has proved to be pretty darn cool.

For everyone who has played everquest before, this place is cold! from dragons to dwarfs... icely! I played on sullon zek, and neutral owns it, its peaceful!

This expansion to EQ was the expansion that really turned the game into a gamer addict paradise now you could spend 15 hours raiding dragon necropolis of sirens groto and not have a dam thing to show for it but screen shots.

If you are thinking about buying this now. Your to late look into another game like World of Warcraft or Warhammer coming in 2007.

This Game is awesome although I can say its very addicting I play alot my 55 war is soloing here like a mofo I am buying a 60 cleric and a 59 enc we can do anything

I am going to write a short but correct Review. if you don't have the Everquest game you can't play this one, so your better off getting the Everquest and trying it out (you can't play this version for a while). If you have everquest, and you like the game get this expansion it is more places to advance to when you get level 35 or such. If you hate Everquest, don't get this game it is not that special, more of the same.

A poor attempt to add content and game space to the EverQuest world. Graphically it is nice, somewhat better than the original and Kunark. Content wise, is still your basic hack and slash. Only a few new "mobs" have been added, most are just old models with a new skin. As far as new quests go, there is a three way faction that the game designers are still monkeying with; I decided to quit playing rather than wait on Verant to come to a final decision. The game space added is negligible to many servers, as there is a build up of higher level characters to contend with in these higher level dungeons. I give it one star for the effort involved in making it. If it were designed from a players perspective rather than an accounting perspective it would have rated higher with me.

This isn't just a game..it's an online community. I've been playing EQ for a long time. It's a whole world online. One of the best parts is the online players make the EQ world fun to play.

I would haft to say that EverQuest is the best game i was eve introduced to. Many of my friends play it so it never gets boring. Even though the game is 10.00 a month, it is worth. I would have to give Verent major Props on making this game. And on a scale i would give all the EvrQuest games a 10 out out of 10!

i been playing everquest for a long time and sov is no better then the first or lulcin verant will still never allow you to make a dime spawns still never drop anything, it used to be fun when they would allow people to make a living but now nothing drops anymore ,or its all no drop you have to go [somewhere else] just to be able to get armor cause verant refeuses to let anybody make any plat or loot and when you do camp something youre sitting there for 10 hours in a group with 6 people and have to roll for it it would be a great game if they would just allow people to actually get armor and gear but they wont and the techinal staff [is bad] but thats just my oppinion of the game
