A War Game that holds your attention!

For those of you who are looking for something that works very similiar to WarCraft this is it. However the graphics will blow you away and the action is much better. If you are a casual less intense player you may have problems. The game demands your attention and if you make mistakes you will pay for them. I haven't gone all the way through the campaign mode yet but for those of you with time on your hands the challenge will be their to finish and complete the game. The computer player can be very over powering and my suggestion is to play in 'slow mode'. This will give you the opportunity actually win the game. I have enjoyed the challenge of learning to play and actually being capable of defeating the computer player. This is a demanding game that is very enjoyable. I recommend it for serious minded players.

If I could give it 4 and a half stars I would because there are a couple features that are really annoying such as having to click on the grain button to grow crops. Even though it says that you can have up to 8000 units in a battle the chances of that are not very high. You have to build 533 house to support them and make the. Besides that there are a lot of different units and the buildings look different for nearly every civilization. Units are made fast for buildings like the Diplomatic center and the barracks. Deppending on the amount of upgrads you have reaserched the artillery depot is fast. The cavelry center is extremly slow. Another reason why I would give it four and a half stars is because it is kind of a spin off of Age of Empires and a little Starcraft.

I bought this game as soon as it was released. First, I couldn't know how to start an interesting compaign. Scenarios are really boring. On the otherhand, there are lots of units and different countries with cool graphics.

this is the only game that shows how warfare was in the 16th-18th centuries I am a hardcore wargamer so this was a breath of fresh air to me that they made this game all of the units are highly detailed and the combat relies on strategy not by number I personally have destroyed 1000+ units with 500 grenieders so if you are interested in renissance warfare then you must buy this game but chek for patches it is a little buggy and the gameplay is very hard to master but easy to learn

I used to be an addict player, especially spending time on strategy/warfare games, but being a father now, I donýt have enough time to spend on the game anymore. Iýve bought this game because it sounded like a terrific war game. And I think this game is a great for somebody can spend hours and hours to play it and enjoy it. I have only a couple of hours a day, and some times thatýs not enough even to build all your necessary facilities to start really playing. The game has plenty of stuff to do: build houses, municipal buildings, factories, mines and so on. You need to raise armies consisting of different troops, train them, elevate them to different level, and lead hundreds of units to the war, or defend your own territory. You can change landscapes, use battle ships, conquer castles. I think this game has a fantastic potential for people who have plenty of time on their hands. I wish I could enjoy it. And by the way, this game loads very slowly, sometimes messes your system up, and creates lockups or freezes. And it is not because of the system I have. I have a brand new PC overloaded with everything one need to challenge the professional work schedule these days.

this is one of the best games i erver played. i find it better then aoe you have more options and its easyer 2 learn the game then aoe. everyone must by this game and play it on the internet.
their is an aad-on cossacks: "art of war" white more option and 2 nation, more units ... . just must have it in your house. their are more then 1000 players on the internet who play this game every day !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is a truly classic game. The variations are endless. Most importantly, you are dealing with a tough AI. Not predictable at all. Finally, the numerous nations, units buildings...super.

If you liked, CC, Age of Empires, Total Ann...then you MUST get this game.

This is a wonderful, gigantic and engaging game. I have spent more than a few hours playing it and have barely begun to scratch the surface! I would recommend this to anyone with a taste for strategy games!
