The best TMNT game ever made!

5 Rating: 5, Useful: 9 / 9

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles In Time" has always been one of my favorite Super Nintendo games. If you've ever liked the earlier TMNT games for the regular Nintendo, or TMNT 2 in the arcades, you'll definitely like "Turtles In Time." The object of the game is to eventually get to the Technodrome and defeat Shredder. There are a lot of challenging and fun levels that you'll have to get past before you even get close to Shredder. The levels range from a dinosaur level where the foot soldiers ride stampeding dinosaurs and try to run over you, to a level where you're inside a train and you have to battle a boss in the form of a crocodile, and even some fun bonus levels.

"Turtles In Time" is a great game in every way. You can defeat most of the enemies with punches, kicks, jump kicks, powerup moves, and my favorite, by throwing them at the screen. At the end of every level are some familiar bosses such as Krang, Rocksteady, and Shredder, and even some new bosses that have never been seen before in any other TMNT game. The graphics in "Turtles In Time" are impressive and colorful, the sound and music goes good with the levels, the control is top notch, and best of all, it's one of the most fun games available for the Super Nintendo.

You can play "Turtles In Time" either one player or two player, either way it's jammed with fun. The game overall isn't too easy or impossibly hard, it's perfect when it comes to the challenge. Even after you beat the game, it's still a lot of fun to start over and beat it again or play 2 player. Even after playing the game for over 5 years, I still like playing it every now and then. If you have a Super Nintendo and if you like action/adventure games or side scrolling fighting games, "Turtles In Time" is a must have!

This game is great especially the "prehistoric level" and i like "the pirate ship" level too and "neo nightriders" except "sewer surfin'." Ok i haven't made it too far except the ship, dinosaurland, nightriders and the first couple of levels like technodrome and the alley but it's fun because you actually use ANYTHING in the levels like barrels and exsplosives.like a box of dynamite!!!!

I loved this game when the turtles were still popular.
But i never bought it, i forgot about it and then i remebered playing it one time. I've been looking everywhere for it but so far nothing! i'll find it some day maybe. Oh and the game was terriffic i especially loved the part where you got to fight eachother or a computer player! And another great thing is you don't die until the timer gets to 0! so you push all kinds of buttons to stay alive! it was great, you could kick badguys and throw them at the screen!!!!

You absolutely can't miss this game!

I played all the turtles games on the NES and I really enjoyed Turtles 2 the most. Then this comes out. At first I didn't think I'd like this because it was a number IV, and every fourth I've seen I haven't liked very much. (Except for Mega Man X4) This was the best Turtles game ever made. It had Time Travel, which I like in games now. (Which is why I just LOVE Chrono Trigger.) It had action, and some plot. I got so addicted to this game. My brother and I go through this on EVERY game mode in under an hour. We played it so much that we mastered it. It was a great game. While not better than Mega Man X, I couldn't have asked for more. 10 levels of sheer excitement.

The best game in the Turtles series

Turtles in Time was my absolute Favorite Team Action/Adventure game because it kicked serious ...! Hopefully, most of you have heard of them but if not, you play as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or Leonardo, Donatello, Rafael and Michaelangelo. Your mission = stop the Shredder from conquering and destroying the world as you chase him through New York City to the sewers and through time (hense the title).

In this one, you start out in New York City where the Turtles live battling many of the series best enemies from Baxter the Fly to Krang to Slash the Evil Turtle, Bebop and Rocksteady and of course the Turtles enemy # 1, the Shredder.

I loved this game. Turtles in Time played exactly like the original TMNT the Arcade Game but with new and better and more challenging boards such as the Prehistoric board where you have to compete with Foot Soldiers running you down with Dinosaurs and the Night Riders board where you fight Krang on futuristic skate boards.

This was one of the last Turtles games but it was easily the best. I'd get this one even if you're not a fan of the Turtles, you'll still enjoy this one.
