Fun but needs work.

I bought this game and i was happy with it for a while but i got tired of it after a while.
1.The gameplay is fun but alot of the advantages lean towards Yuri's side i mean you cant send any kind of airforce in because they get blown to pieces by the gattling cannons. You cant send in any tanks or infantry because they get took over by there physic towers and the only thing you can send in are robotic tanks which are cheap but very littly armored. And the sea is as much as impossible to fight in yuri's boomer subs have two torpedos instead of one and can fire ballistic missiles from a safe distance. But the other houses capabilities arent all weak like the soviets war bunker building which is very useful against almost anything but can bee destroyed easliy.

2.Like youve heard in the past reviews the game is to short and to easy I didnt need any help whatsoever beating it, in RA2 I needed help on the last allied mission its pathetic i know but some of us are only human.

Now dont get me wrong i dont mind blowing [up] people or taking things over and using them against my enemies but they should at least be able to fight back or at least blow up some of my defenses Im a turtle and not the best at offense but the AI is horrible.

Good game for fun and kicks on a friday night but not for replay.

The Greatest multiplayer C&C ever

The game is not one to do campaign missions with, I beat red alert2 but this is inserpassible, I'm stuck on level 3 on both sides. Pluss there is no campaign for Yuri, He just kills you in all the levels. On the other hand, the multiplayer obsesses me. You can be Yuri's army yeilding mind burning infantry, brutes, Genetic mutators and phsychic dominators. The allies have a few new weopons of destructon such as robot hover tanks that cannot be mind controlled and Gaurdian GI's with anti tank weopons in gaurding position and machine guns when walking. The soviets get spy planes to uncover lots of land and Boris who is the soviets call to Tanya. He calls in MIG's to destroy a selected target. The multiplayer capabilities make it a must have game

Yuri's Revenge gives rebirth to the C&C Red Alert series. With a new story line, weapons and structures, improved controls and helpful features, and an entirely new army to command, Yuri's Revenge is one of the coolest strategy games ever made. The only things to complain about is that there is no Yuri campaign, the Allied and Soviet campaigns are relatively short, and Yuri's arsenal is kind of weak, relying almost completely on mind-control weapons. Also, the game is somewhat easy. Anyway, Yuri's Revenge should be on all C&C fans' hard drives.

The best command and conquer expansion ever!

I just purchased this game not too long ago because I was trying to beat red alert 2. After I installed it the begining video popped up and showed what was happening. Right after that I knew that this game was going to be good. I played the game for a while and really liked the campaign. The part that really got me hooked on this was the skirmish mode. There are more options for both previous unions and now you get to control yuri's forces and their mind control technology. I love this expansion so much that I recommend it to anyone who has played command and conquer because I know that they will be just as hooked on it as I am.

i love this game, personally i think it's the best game ever made by westwood. I recommend anyone to buy this and the regular Red Alert 2 becuase it's needed for yuri's Revenge, I think they should make Red Alert 3:) it's awesome

This is great

Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2, Yuri's Revenge:

I'm in college now so I don't have much time to sit down and play computer games but I decided that I should probably make time for this one.

Let me just say that I am amazed, this is what an expansion pack should be. The game also serves to illustrate something that I think some software companies have forgotten that namely is just because your product looks good does not mean it is fun.

You're product could be the best looking product on the planet but if the game play sucks all you have is a nice looking game that sucks.

In this case it does not matter that I found the plot to be ludicrous and strange the good game play more than makes up for it. Weather it is leading a last desperate charge towards a base, digging in and defending your territory and calling an air strike the whole game just feels like somebody who was designing it cared about the consumer for once(which I might add happens only rarely in a game produced by EA admit it).

I would also like to comment on an aspect of the game that I usually don't bother with single player missions they are fun to play and unique this is probably the best Command and Conquer installment since Covert Operations that is the very first expansion pack made for command and conquer(the original)

Overall-In this way Yuri's Revenge is a complement to Red Alert 2 rather than a letdown like I've found most expansion packs to be. Everything works so closely together EA should be proud.

Awesome!!!!!

There was a time when I thought that a game couldn't get any more fun than Red Alert Aftermath...then Yuri's Revenge came along. Jesus H. Christ this game is fun!! If you play in skirmish mode, you can make this game last for days.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY!

This is another brilliant masterpiece made by westwood producers but buy something more worthwhile. Yes it is pretty cool yuris revenge does have some new vehicles, maps, and single player campaigns. But I played yuris revenge once its basically the same thing as Red ALert 2 same grapics same gameplay. So after playing it once I just stuck to the regular RA2 and uninstalled yuris revenge. Kind of a boring expansion pack if you ask me. Waste of memory, waste of time, but worst of all waste of your money! Please take my heed of advice and go buy some tinkertoys or something. unless you have some money to burn!

A New RA2

This game is going to be one of the best games westwood has ever come out with. There will be new units and a completely new team. Strategies will completely differ from those in RA2. Giving you a new challenge with harder enemies and stronger allies. I suggest buying this game if you like Strategy games or just plain like westwood games. This game is going to be AWESOME!!!!!
