I can't believe I bought this game, it's awful. The graphics are Playstation One quality, the music (...) and the actual gameplay is horrendous. Don't make the same mistake I did, you'll be breaking your shiny new controllers if you play this one.

This game is based an an anime show in japan. I saw the show and really liked it so when I saw the game I bought it. Besides the fact that it is not much like the show exept for the characters, and it is more of an action adventure game I liked it.

I bought this game when I first bought my PS2 and I have to say that it could have been a very good game; however, it seemed very underdeveloped. There was not enough fights, puzzles, and/or point to the game. You spend the entire time collecting powers only to find out that the ones start out with are the ones you need to defeat the game. What is the point? If you must play it rent it.

if you buy this game you are buying a drink coaster - it is horrible - the comabat system is horrible - the characters are horrible - the graphics are glitchy and the controls leave much to be desired - THIS IS A LAUNCH GAME - which means it is one of the oldest games out - DO NOT BUY _ buy DARK ALLIANCE INSTEAD

This game is actually very fun. I don't know what all the other reviewers are talking about. You don't like that there is so much story? Well too bad! This is supposed to be game about story! It is based on an anime after all. The battles leave something to be desired, but like I said, this game is about story. The battles are just meant to be fill ins for all those gamers who would get bored like most of you people are. My only complaint is the voice acting. I think that Orphen's voice suits him but that's about it. If only they had Japanese voices with English subtitles.... Oh well, you can't have everything.

Orphen was another prime example of a rushed game that wanted to be a launch title. It contains a little bit of [bad] voice acting at the beginning, then from there they gave up and no one moves their mouth. As for gameplay, it's very limited, pretty boring, and overall lacking. ... I don't even know why they call it orphen. You just live out someone elses adventure as you join their party. The story is one of the worst ever made. ... my point is the story [is bad], and everything else about this game [is bad], it's the ... game that ever ... . Use the disk as it was obviously intended to be used as. A frizbee.

This game is a waste of your money. Don't buy it. Heck, dont even waste your time or energy trying to steal it. First of all it takes no skill whatsoever to play. A one month old retarded monkey could play it. Secondly, the characters are annoying. They never shut up and and there is no way to skip their crap. The puzzles are lame, the plot is third rate, and the graphics for the intro shame what the ps2 is capable of. The combat is Final Fantasy style which can be summed up as "boring as heck!" Maybe I expect too much from a game when i want something that won't make me vomit. Anyway, to sum it all up, stores shouldn't waste their shelf space and you shouldn't waste your $$$ getting it.

I was highly dissapointed in this game. I don't even know what to say about it. The Dubbing was just horrible, I mean I've seen some bad dubbing but damn, that was pathetic. The battle system was different, but it still sucks. i hate this game but i'm too ashamed to take it back to gamestop. don't buy it.
