wow sean connery in a video game how much better could it be his movies
great and so is his game. it is the first 007 game that you can have nore controll over your person you can buy weapons clothes and upgrades
as shown in the movie.another thing about this game that makes it better than any other 007 game is that there are a bigger selection of weapons
and the aming is great allong with the controller configuration. the only disadvantage to this game is that
you can not drive as many cars and the levels are some what harder witch i guess that can be a good thing if you like difficult games.so my word to you is if you like the previous 007 games you will like this one.
Yuck.

Alright, let's be fair. It's fun to play a James Bond as portrayed by Sean Connery, and it's interesting to see the original suave action hero doing a character in a video game.
The Good:
The graphics aren't too bad, but not quite as refined as Everything or Nothing.
The voices; the characters are dead on the film.
Sean Connery as James Bond.
The Bad:
Practically everything else. Simply put, the game feels rushed, and needed a lot more time being polished up in production.
The game is way, way too easy. The most difficult setting is comperable to the easiest in Everything or Nothing.
The gameplay...ugh...the gameplay. It amounts to a third person shooting gallery with auto targeting. There is hardly any variety in the gameplay at all: running and shooting, some sloppy driving levels with more easy auto targeting, running and shooting. If you're expecting the motorcycle chases, the helicopter shootouts, and the infinite choices of actions presented in Everything or Nothing, take heed.
I think this game had real potential, revisiting a classic James Bond movie. As movie-to-game translations go, this one is certainly not bad. But it could have been so much more. It has decent production values, graphics, and sound. But it's all in the gameplay. Everything or Nothing let you step into Bond's shoes and live out a thrilling, original adventure. This one just needed more challenge and gameplay variety and refinement.
Fun, but EXTREMELY easy

This game is fun, but I beat it very quickly. I hardly ever finish a game, and I beat this in a day. Even on the hardest difficulty setting, you will whiz through these painfully easy levels, which you are led through, they require NO thinking! Overall, this is a game that should only be rented.

This game loosely follows the script of the "From Russia With Love" film hit. What I mean by loosely is that it does follow the script, but adds more depth and detail to it that there was not time for in the movie. Most of your missions are played "inbetween the pages" of the film's script. That being said, however, it is indeed playing as the true James Bond (Sean Connery). He was more than willing to participate for new voice clips in the game (as you will learn by unlocking the Sean Connery bonus trailer). They also take old clips from the film and mix them in, making for a very cool approach to an old classic. The game setup is the standard James Bond game setup that has been around since the N64 days, and none of the old features have been removed. But, new stuff has been added, like points systems to upgrade weapons and gadgets, or to unlock trailers, clips, and interviews for the making of the game. Also, this is the first fully customizable Bond game yet-you can literally press the "Select" button and use weapons, gadgets, or change Bond into his several classic ensembles (including the famed white tux) at any time during game play. So, a classic has been brought forth into this exciting era of interactive animation. But, they've also got a modern touch to classic Bond, where you have weapons and gadgets that would only be found in our modern times. It's hard to judge between which Bond game is better...this or "Everything or Nothing." I guess it's just up to who you'd rather be-Pierce or Sean!

This game really impressed me in terms of graphics, fun, challenges, and multiplayer. From Russia with love had a cool story line in which you flew in jetpacks, rode in cars and other vehicles. The one thing that I DIDN'T LIKE, though, was that you couldn't create and AI computer players, and you could only do 1 on 1. This greatly disturbs because, since the last game I had, Nightfire, had that feature, I was used to playing with AI.
But anyway, in multiplayer mode you can ride in jetpacks and cars. Overall this GAME WAS A HIT! BUY IT!

I've worn out the -X- button on my Logitech controller playing this game over and over.
If you're 30-40 something or are just a huge fan of the 1960's James Bond movies, this is your game. The 60's details are perfect - the clothing, the furniture, and most especially the old mainframe computers. The only thing missing from the computers are the 60's IBM logos!!!
Game play is excellent and is VERY VERY similar to the mechanics of the other recent Bond game titled 'Everything or Nothing'. Game play is watered down a bit to make it easier than Everything or Nothing. You'll get to drive the Aston Martin - A - LOT. There are several scenes where you'll be flying around in the old Jet Pack. The Train Station and the Soviet Factory are my absolute favorite levels and have the best retro scenes despite their having never appeared in the actual film. Original scenes from the movie have been adapted for the game, including a gunfight on the Orient Express and the Gypsy Camp sequence. The 'movie' has a new opening sequence that takes place prior to the Hedgemaze and it appears that the ending sequence story may have been inspired partly by the plot from the movie "Thunderball". There are some really 'nifty' 60's gadgets, including the "Q copter". No digital circuitry here; Everything is Analog!
Yes, there are a few silly things you may not like. While the final level is cool, the end 'boss' Grant appears in a silly contraption. The airport parking lot scene isn't worth saving the points up to unlock. The sniper on the balcony 'bonus' level is impossible to win - or at least I haven't figured out the right place to stand after playing for nearly a year. You can't skip the cut scenes. You can't play against the AI in the non-story mode; two player only.
But the rest of the game is outstanding. I do wish EA would continue a Classic Bond game series, but I doubt they will do so. Grab this one, it's probably one of a kind.

Although many people will say this is a 1st person shooter, it's really a 3rd. Play as the first James Bond, Sean Connery, as this game follows the story line of the book. The best part of this game is that if you push L1 it goes in close on the target and then R1 is shoot. This is 100% the best James Bond game ever.
This has been a pleasure to play

Most kids won't even think about this game, because it's based in the 60's. It is an interactive version of the film of the same name. The controls are challenging, but doable, even for the casual player. The voice acting is great. Connery doing a young Connery is a real treat. The music and the character renderings are superb. Get it while you can!
I will now try Brosnan's "Everything or Nothing". I hope TPTB will make a Roger Moore "Live and Let Die" GAME!
Awesome game, great for every bond lover (or not)

This game is awesome. It is pretty close to the actual Sean Connery film. The graphics are perfect and the game has plenty of twists and turns, just like the movie.
