The most fun game I've played on my DS Lite!

I'm a 30-something female adult and a relatively new Zelda/Link fan. I must say that Zelda:The Phantom Hourglass for DS Lite was the most fun game I've played on my DS Lite to date. I wish all my DS Lite games were as entertaining as this game was for me.
While the game is not overly complicated to play, looking for treasures and solving the puzzles were fun. Every once in a while some extremely clever uses of the DS Lite unit itself help to solve some of the riddles. I enjoyed solving them. Fights were challenging but not impossible.
I was able to complete the game and I am very satisfied. I have not found all of the gems or hooked the biggest fish. (Yes, you get to fish in this game too, similar to the Wii game Twilight Princess.) So I'm going through the lands and seas again to go find what I missed the first time around.
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass is a fun and entertaining game. Highly recommended by this mom for her own game time fun.
The BEST game for the DS!!!

I am not a Zelda fan. I have never played a Zelda game before trying it for the DS. For those of you who have never tried a Zelda game before, I absolutely recommend this game. It is amazing. By far the best game I have played on the DS to date. Even if you are not a Zelda fan, you will throughly enjoy this game. The touchscreen is used in very unique ways. JUST. BUY. IT.

This is a good game, But has a a lot of challenges that would make some people angry. Little kids wouldn't be able to keep up with this game. I am fifteen years old and I needed help at times. But if a little kid can beat this game without help, that kid must be really smart... or just lucky. I find this game to be sort of an IQ test with swords and monsters.

Because of the temple of the ocean king this game lost a star. Everything else is fun...but the temple is really difficult and stressful (you are timed). DO NOT turn off you DS in the temple, because even when you save the game you have to restart the temple. Everything else is great, controls are easy, and graphics are wonderful. Yeah, I reccomend this game to people who enjoy Rp.

Last time I played Zelda was on a Nintendo you hook up to a television 20 yrs ago. This DS version was a great entertainment. I got hooked instantly, and spent sleepless hours playing the game until the wee hours of the morning.
Amazing graphics/animation, and the battery lasts a very long time before needing to recharge. After I was done, I let my 5 yr old niece borrow it, and she's been at it endlessly for the last several days. It goes to show that it appeals to all ages from a child to an adult.
Very fun game in the Zelda series

If you have ever played a Zelda game and enjoyed it, then I am sure you will enjoy The Phantom Hourglass. Touch screen controls take a little while to get used to, but once you do you'll find that they work very well and are fun to use. The graphics are very well done and don't effect the framerate or amount of content in the game.
The only major complaint may be sailing is very tedious and the backtracking many times to this certain temple may get very old.
Overall, still a very fun game
Best DS Game so far

I've played through this game twice already, and keep getting amazed at the level of detail that Nintendo has put in the game. While hard-core fans might find the difficulty levels much lower than other Zelda games, the puzzles, the adventure, and the quests are still there. I loved it.
If you're looking for a perfect DS game, you've found it...

I bought this game on a whim, i do not follow the Zelda series and the last time i touched a zelda game was for the NES and i was about 6 years old so i hardly remember that game even. But this game is down right awesome, just spectacular and should be in every DS owner's library. It uses full advantage of the stylus, the controls are easy to learn, the puzzles are fun and challenging (but not to the point of frustration), the graphics are good, and after almost finishing the game (I'm at the end boss now) i can say that i was fully satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to any DS owner. I really wish there were more games like this for the DS because i'm learning that although the DS is a fantastic system, there are a TON of awful games for it and i have yet to find one as good as this... i can only hope that a sequel comes out... quickly!
GREAT GAME!
I have only played Zelda Twilight Princess and Minish Cap and now ..this one.

I love these zelda games. They are easy to get into even if you don't know the whole story line. I do plan to play the other ones though. This particular game is like a pirate-y action adventure role play game and it's tons of fun!!! The ds control scheme is pretty cool too. Also, for people who can never remember things and people to go back to, this version allows you to write on your map using the touch screen and stylus.
Great game...The Zelda Series continues its greatness

The game is great. It is a perfect continuation of the GameCube game. If you are a fan of Zelda as much as I am, you will enjoy this game. The cartoonish graphics are the same as that of its predecessor on the GameCube. The game play is fun; the DS controls (touch screen) make it very enjoyable as well. This is a must have for DS owners.
