Ok let's face it everyone likes Tony Hawks Pro Skater even people who don't skate....but i am telling you if you are a skater (not a poser) and you are sick of how fake Tony Hawks Pro Skater is then this game is for you. The graphics aren't the best but hey no game is perfect, but the gameplay is so awsome! most of these moves are actually possible to do! And i know that alot of you skaters out there are looking for a realalistic skateboarding game well here ya go this game is hard it's a challenge not impossible it's a chalange to do big tricks and doing the big tricks most of em are still possible i highly recomend this game to any one who wants a realaistic skateboarding game!

In Tharasher they have some sweet music.They also have cool moves like double kickflip but the people are not real skaters.In the game there are real sponsers like D.C. I't is alot better then tony hawk by far.In the game when you are on normel you become a pro skater.When you when on expert you get to take pictures for the magenzine in the game.But you have to get use to the controls and then you are good.The graphics aren't as good as tony hawk but thrasher is still better.In Thrasher they also have codes for the game so it is pretty easy but you still need to now the controls.With all the opinions I gave you I hope you make the best choice.

Ive been SK8ing since I was 7. This game is 4 tha OG, like me. I get Thrasher magazine and its tha bomb. You can do all the tricks you see on tape like Expandable Yuoth. This game is wiked! And the crashes are kool, they hurt.

Must buy for all Hardcore Skaters,

Skate&Desrtoy is the best skating game ever! I played it,showed it to my friends and soon we were having fun playing the two player part of the game.Then we conquered the single player part in 4 days and about 11 hours.Even thought me and my friends beat the game I still have hours of fun tring to beat the game with all of the different skaters.If you like to skateboard or just like the look of the game ,then this is a must.

Thrasher, one of the best out there.

After playing many skateboarding games like, Tony Hawk and Street Skater, i found most of those are just for fun. If you want a serious Skateboard where you have to become sponsored, learn new tricks, and beat levels while dodging the cops. Dodging cops is a new element for skateboarding games. Another new element is that every time you fall, you get points. If these points reach 100, your board breaks and you are unable to continue the level. You have to match or beat a given score to continue to the next level. Another great thing is that you pratice and play the level with out having to choose a different option. Each level has different elements that can multiply your score, like grinding a long rail off a building in the Courthouse, or jumping over a train in the subway. The downside of this game is that is is hard to land some tricks or pull tricks off. The camera angles can get in the way and some times you should be hurting much more from a fall. Overall this is a fun and addictive game.

Ya'll better get this or i'll break your Thps Games!

This is one of those games that you paly play play and just can't stop playin. Sick Tunes, Better than Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, Street Sk8er, And Street Sk8er 2. don't get me wrong, Tony Hawk Pro Skater Games are cool, but if you are lookin for a greater game, get this. before, it cost my mom ..., now you can get it at software Etc or any other game store for ... or more(or even less)i'd give this game a 1000 if I Could, but I Can't...

U want realism? Come here!

Thrasher is honestly one of the best games I have ever played. It is so good that anyone who liked Tony Hawk's (1 or 2) should try it; if you didn't like either try it. Ok, maybe the graphics aren't so good but that ain't what matters. This game has all the (realistic) tricks you are ever gonna do. If you want 720 flip's then play THPS. But if you want true tricks (such as FS Kickflips and Varialflips) then play this. Oh, and, there are no specials, (who the hell thought of that in THPS!) but moves your character gets when you complete the game. In one word, "ACE". Play it, now!

This game blows T. H.'s Weak Skater out of the running. The controls are easier the re-play value is higher, and the tricks are better and there is no stupid time clock until you want it. The graphics are tight and the hidden characters are a blast. This game is totally off the hook. I love everything about this game. In fact, it needs a sequel with more of everything.

I can vouch for the fact that even if you hate or despise real life skateboarding you can't help but getting 100 percent addicted to this nonstop in-your-face kicking video game. I especially enjoyed the hidden stunt areas and the unbelievable scenery. Buy it NOW, you will not regret it.

Skateboarding for the nearly 30's.

My experience of skateboarding in real life can be described in a picture of me taken when I was 8 or so. I'm clad in helmet and as many protective pads as you could manage. I'm at a particularly strange angle and if I managed to stay on the board for more than 40 seconds after the picture was taken, I'd be surprised.

Even with that limited experience, there's still something strangely appealing about this game. It gives you plenty of time to adjust to each skating area before you decide to go for the time trial option and the controls aren't too tough to handle initially, although it's a bit tougher to bail successfully from a failed trick at high speed.

The game gives you the ability to revamp your skater's clothing, footwear &/or board at the end of each level, increasing the personal appeal of the game.

The background soundtrack from artists like te Sugar Hill Gang & Run DMC fits right in. And that's coming from someone who wouldn't cross the street to buy a rap CD.

All in all an excellent piece of escapism for those of us who secretly wish we were still young enough to get away with boarding in public....

I liked the game. I have been skating for a while and the game has real trick names and every thing. When you get 5,000 points you get sponcered by real co. I could pull off nose slides and even do heel-flips down alot of stairs. Oce you beat the level you have a cop chase you it's soo funny. You keep going on to harder levels and need to get more trick points.
