The team that brought you warhammer rts and homeworld really out do them selves in this game.

Its litteraly like watching ww2 skrimish take place.

Sound is second to none, graphics are second to none, gameplay second to none.

I thought the Warhammer series from relic redifined the RTS genre and Company of heroes refines that to a super polished perfect state.

I really enjoyed it. One of my favourite games ever. It's way of playing and changing positions with camera rotation is great i really love it.

I'm a veteran of most of the other RTS games out there, and even on easy the gameplay against the computer is extremely hard in Company of Heroes. When, after I produce 3 rifle squads (2 min into the game) they start sending Panzers to blow them all up... well, it was supposed to be easy, right?

This Game does not diserve game of the year. Plus don't believe these other reviews. I am so tired of game develpers writing reviews for there own game. You are being betrayed. Relic is paying off to there horrible games to have game of the year. They all should be Shame of the Year because they ar BOOOOOOORING.

Factions: Only 2 boring factions that have a lack of units. Plus They both look exactly the same.

Insane Profanity: They always say the F word and it is so annoying. They will just not stop swearing.

Zoom Feature: Sure there is a Zoom Feature. Which is the ONLY Reason why this game got game of the year. Because they have a pretty little zooming feature which you rarly use and is distracting in battle. That is why Dawn of war and Homeworld got game of the year.

I liked the covering feaure but this game just isn't fun or creative. I would go with Command and Conquer 3 if you Want FUN and CREATIVITY!

Very good game, but very buggy online, can't finish 1/2 of the games on
line, keep getting Data-Sync error.
One of the best RTS games I played so far.
Update: after a few patches, it's working better.
I played this on line a lot, 1 on 1 is very playable, beyond that it's
catch 22. I got up to level seven on 1 on 1, the ranked system is very good, you get good matches. Buy this.

Thought it would be an action game,more a strategy,not like medal of honor or call to duty,not impressed being third person.

The ingame movies are fantastic! The actual gameplay is very challenging. However, Relic does not support their product. Instead it is supported through volunteers that run the Relic Forum. And you will need support because the game has many issues.
If you want to spend alot of money on a game and incessantly tweak your computer till it works, then this is the game for you. It is great when it works.

Did the Free Shipping instead of the 3 Day UPS. The package arrived 2 weeks before expected and only 4 days post ordering it. Amazon did a great job and without incidents. Definitely buy again from them.

This game has presentation, style, and execution in SPADES. But it lacks in a few critical areas that are holding it back from legendary status;

1) The AI is fairly poor, especially vehicle AI. The skirmish mode AI is nearly brain dead in capture point mode.

2) The limited units and only 2 sides *REALLY* drag down the replayability of this title. There just isn't a lot of "Meat" here, and we quickly tired of it after only a couple weeks.

3) There are some glarring balance issues, and realism problems. A basic example is the fact that Sherman tanks are far tougher than they should be, and can stand toe to toe with a tiger longer than they should. All things considered, this sours the taste buds of realism buffs.

Overall though, the graphics are great, the sound is fantastic, and the gameplay is fast and furious. Despite the bad points, this is one of the better RTS games we've seen in the last year or so. Knocking off 1 full star for the flaws and lack of replayability.
