A great game to boost your brain, my daughter and I make sure we spend some time on the game before we go to bed. Even my 4 year old can play with the piano game, fun, educational, challenging, thumbs up!!

I am not a gamer by any means but when it comes to educational games, I'm for all the way. The kids have allowed me to participate with them and this is truly a fun game.

This is one of our first DS games and is well liked by children ages 10 and older including the adults. Great if you love number games like Soduko....makes you think.

Not a terribly deep game and I'm not sure how much the little puzzles really "train" your brain. Are you supposed to be more alert? A better problem solver? The scientific function of the game is never really explained. But, if you are into problem solving and puzzle games you will get hooked into this. Tons of replayability for a little price = nice!
"Fun" isn't the point

This is a fine update to the previous title. The only major objection I have is that I can't shut the doctor up. It gets really tiresome to have to hear his tidbits of information after every single game. It's easy enough, however, to breeze through his commentary so this is not a major issue.
A Bit Tedious

I seriously doubt this "game" will effectively train your brain. The various games are fun, not too challenging but after repeated plays can become tedious. Fifteen minutes - about the time it takes to play all the games once - is enough for a day. Speech recognition is ok but handwriting recognition is problematic with the letter "I" which must be spelled as typed here or the software will recognize a different letter. The game "virus buster" meant to relax is more infuriating than relaxing. It's been a week since I started, my brain age has fluctuated wildly and the games have become routine.

The first time I played this game, I did not like it as much as big brain academy. The second day I played the game, I was hooked. It keeps track of what you do everyday and gives you daily tips to make the game more fun. Also, it comes with a bunch of sudoku puzzles that range from easy to hard. Also, you unlock new training games the more days you play so you can't finish it in 1 day.

I'm really enjoying this game. It's fun and challenging all in one. I'm not sure about the whole "brain age" concept, but at least I see myself improving! LOL I'm not sure how long this will continue to be a lot of fun, though, as it's pretty much the same thing over and over. How competitive and/or driven are you? (Maybe I need to get others to play, too, as I hear that opens up different things, too.)
