I have owned the first in this series since it came out. I was looking forward to the release of this sequel.
It has more of the same brain trainings but with a change in some of the methods (games) that complements the original.
For a second purchase, you will find yourself switching back and forth for variety. For an initial purchase, you cannot go wrong with getting Brain Age or Brain Age(2).
Regardless, there are suduko puzzles on each.
Very enjoyable.
Great Game!!

I love this game. I didn't think Brain Age could get better but it did! I like this one better than the first one. I hope there is a Brain Age 3!! Well worth the money.

I find Brain Age 2 to be pretty much as advertised. Alas, at first it was lots of fun and now is more just a routine. However, it is interesting to do and to compare scores at different times of day for instance. I'm a senior citizen and the time of day and my alertness seem to be entwined.
Just as good, maybe even better than the original

I wondered if Brain Age 2 could possibly measure up to the original Brain Age. It does! This game is lots of fun to play with all new challenges. The sudoku is, thankfully, just as outstanding. Even if you bought this for the sudoku alone, it would be well worth the price. It is by far the best and most user friendly sudoku game out there for the DS. This game does not disappoint.
It's a Blast!

I thought I wouldn't want to play this daily, but I've gotten addicted to playing daily and watching my brain age decrease. I'm not a fan of all of the training moods, but that's expected. I especially like the Sudokus. It's probably one of the better Sudokus around.

This selection of mathematical and observation tests are so addictive I cannot put them away. I have always enjoyed numbers and puzzles so even now with me in my late 30's it has certainly improved my ability to become quicker in answering certain puzzles, and using my imagination when it comes to drawing. So much so that my partner hid my DS for two days so I wouldn't play with it. It's that addictive. The same can be said for the original "Brain Age".
Great for kids and adults alike

Really a good workout for the brain, fun, and can even be challenging to some so give it a try and it is not expensive like many of the animated games or series like Mario although to me any of the games I have are worth their prices.

I've never used the first Brain Age. I'm 28 and female. I am also pretty new to playing games.
At first I thought that this game was only Sudoku. The sudoku is a big plus because there are TONS of them. You can pretty much play it until you pass out and still have a lot more to unlock.
There are a few things I don't like about this game. 1. The Dr. gets really annoying and repetitive sometimes. 2. You don't get to unlock new games very often. 3. The games that they test you on are different than the ones you practice with. The games they test you on are annoying (rock paper scissors, or counting racing people etc). 4. The games you can play daily are scored the first time you play and you have to play all of them. At least half are annoying. 5. All scores are take on the first try. If you are a champ by the end it doesn't matter - try tomorrow.
There are a few things that I like. 1. Sudoku. 2. I love a few of the games such as making change, playing music, decoding the signs. 3. It is nice to see your progress on the games. 4. The dr. does say some little hints that you can figure out to unlock game quirks.
It seems like the bad outweighs the good, but I still go back to it every now and then. It will also matter how many games/what type of you like. I also still have a lot to unlock if I want to repeat the old stuff at some point.

A great continuation to the Brain Age series of games. This is my favorite with a little bit more entertaining and challenging games. The play is easy, sometimes the pen does not pickup what I write correctly, but a very minor problems which hasn't overly affected my scores.
