One of the best Sonic games ever made, a true Genesis classic. Beutiful graphics and music, perfect control, and the first appearance of Tails. Buy it if you want to know what a real video game is.

The best game ever! Over 16 million copies sold! This was my favourite game (and still is) Not as hard as Sonic 1, hooray. Its worth it to see cute Tails copying Sonic's every move!

Sonic 2 is the most popular of the original Sonic The Hedgehog games and after you play it, you'll notice that it's not anything like the first one. Myself, I liked the original Sonic The Hedgehog the best, but Sonic 2 isn't a bad game at all. Some of the levels such as the Hilltop Zone and Mystic Cave Zone are awesome and imaginative. All the levels are fun and the game is a little bit harder than the first one, but not impossible. The bonus level had a bigtime facelift from the first one. In Sonic 2, you have to avoid spikes and collect as many coins as you can to get the emerald. This is the first game that starred the now well known tails and he can be a lot of help at times. Another player can pick the 2nd controller up and control him at any time and he collects coins for you.

What most people probably don't know about the game that makes it even more fun is that you can hook it up with the Sonic & Knuckles game and it makes it even better because with Knuckles, you can climb walls and fly through levels. Overall, this is a great game to get and one of the best of the classic side scrollers.

IN STH2 the fight against Dr. Robotnik continues. He has built a new fortress the death egg. In order for Sonic to bring it down he needs the help Miles"Tails"Prower the fox. This game has brighter colors and looks better than the first and the only major change was that they shortend the zone lengths from 3acts to 2 except for the metrropollis zone. This is a must get!!!

I already beat the game years ago and i'm 9. My brother beat it when he was 7. he's 14 now. I've got all the sonic the hedgog games. My brother and i use game genie codes though.

man i love sonic and the gang this is my favorite out of my 15 games. i also have a dreamcast with both of the sonic adventure games. sonic games are awsume!

Now you have Tails on your side to combat that evil Dr. Robotnic! This game has better graphics, a new feature (the charge-up spin) multiplayer, and fun levels! A great addition to any Genesis library!

This is the best game I know. My friend has this and I play it all the time. The graphics are good and I like the "Super Sonic" feature.

This is the best game for Sega Genesis. The gameplay is so simple, yet so compelling. The replay value on the game is unbeatable. I'm going to be playing this game for years to come.
