Where is the PC version of this game?????? I have cash and will pay -- really seems like a no brainer marketing decision needs to be made.

I have not personally played this game, but I have seen my 9 year old play this. I did not buy this game for him, his mother did, but I have heard good things about it. The first time I saw it, I was in the room with my 9 year old, and my 3 year old. The game looked ok, but the concept of running from the police and stealing cars (he was in the Ride Along game) was a little too much for me to handle. I kept reading the manual, trying to figure out what was the concept of the game (and to help my son). My son had no idea what he was doing. He just knew it was so much fun to steal the cars, and run from the police. I have since read the reviews on this game, and now realize that my son needed to change the "game" and try to play the part of the game where he is supposed to find people or look for things. Still he would be running from the police and stealing cars. I asked my son why he kept stealing cars, and his response was that he had too because the police smashed his other one. He even tried to play the game where he drive correctly (speed limit and stoplight rules were followed), but the police still chased him.
My first response was that this game was not a good game for my 9 year old, and especially my 3 1/2 year old to see.
I was happy to see that this game was for TEENS, because I don't expect to see this game at my house for about 4 more years. He can keep it at his mother's house.
Two thumbs down

I did not find this game to be very exciting. Some of the levels are impossible and it seems like you have to restart 50 times before you can finally pass the level. How am I supposed to catch a guy throwing explosives out of the back when he never slows down enough so you can run him off the road? The cops seem to be difficult. You can be going full speed and the cops can still ram you from the back and send you flying into a building. I personally didn't think it was very fun. Now if you could walk into the buildings and explore a little more than pavement, it would be fun. If you want a game thats impossible and frustrating, try Driver 2.
THIS GAME IS COOL

This game is a must have. I loved how you could get out of the car and get into others. The only bad ting is the game play is so slow. Too much was just packed into it. They should have tried to put it onto 2 CDs.
Sometimes aesthetics do not matter...

You can't exactly complain about the game being ugly. That's really not the point of this experience. Driver was an innovative game; one that many people were glad to see. Driver 2 is a game worthy of being called a great sequel. The game is fun. Isn't that the real point? It may run at a rather slow rate, but it goes fast enough to keep your attention. (Besides, I doubt that anyone would have really noticed had no one ever said anything.) This game is every bit as entertaining as the original. Sure, the car collisions may have the physics of two Rubbermaid garbage cans bounding off one another, but in a strange way it adds a little more fun to the overall chase. It definitely sets the stage for more interesting crash scenes. Don't get caught up in all the high technology this holiday season. Play for the fun of it. Buy the game.
Great game

This game is brill, I played it only once, as I yet to get a playstation, but I really loved it, if only, the makers of driver disigned one for England cities, I'm sure other British fans, would love that.
DRIVER 2 NEEDS SOME TECHNICAL TWEAKING.

After playing the inital Driver game I was looking forward to trying out Driver 2. Whilst the game is fun and the missions are challenging the drawback is that the game keeps freezing up. There's just too much stuff packed into the disks for the Playstation to handle and as a result gameplay is seriously hindered. There are times when I've reset 7 or 8 times just to get the game to load to where I last saved! Come on now, this is ridiculous. Why create a game that can't be played to the satisfaction of the people who spent ... to purchase it?
Worse Game Ever !!!!!!!!!!!!

I recently got Driver part 1 and thought it was so fun, So I decided to pick up Driver part 2. Whoaaa what a mistake that was. Part 2 has to be probably the worse game I have ever played. The driving in this game is like those people on the road you just wanna scream at for driving so slow. The turns are way to tight. Unlike the first you can steal other cars but what's the fun of that if the game is wack.
The first Driver it's to fun to even think about playing driver 2. Remember Driver 2 was bought out by other company and when that happens the games ALWAYS GO DOWNHALL.
GET DRIVER 1 NOT DRIVER 2

I'm not sure what to think of this game; every positive point the game tries to make is cancelled out by a negative. The missions are original, but require long load times and are extremely difficult. The game is detailed, yet the game runs choppy. Multiplayer sucks period. Better than the first, but I wouldn't buy it.
