good, could be funchier

Well, its fun to roam around the city and kill baddies, but you really need to find people to be on yr team and sometimes this is easy. However, other times you can be online for, like hours and no one wants to hunt with you. WTF?? I know yr level 4 and I'm 1, but don't be a stuck up jackass!!? Help a brother out, here!!!! And then if you do helps omeone out in a fight, they just look at you for a second and run away. Not even a "thanks." That sucks!!! So, aside from some lame stuck up jerks, the game is fun. I like to make my character dance and say obnoxious things to people.

Actually, that's more fun than fighting anyway.

When i first played this game i thought it was going to be corny.But when i learned that you could make your on hero all i could say was awesome....Sadly i can't play n e more because my brother started to play W.O.W *world of warcraft* and stopped paying da bill for it.DANGIT if only you didn't have to pay a fee to play i would be playing rite now and would've never made this review. I hope this review was helpful (haha yea rite) well maby.

I havnt yet played City of Heroes and I'm sure others out there are asking these sorts of questions that I am. Here are a few questions that I have looked for over the internet and havn't found. When you buy the game "City of Heroes," does it cost money monthly to play it? Also does this game play in 3rd or 1st person view? The screen shots are a little troublesome and they are hard to tell if they are 3rd person or 1st person. Those are my questions, and im sure there are more out there that people are searching for, but the next time some one decideds to take the time to insert another passage about how great "City of Heroes" is, the please add in the answers to these questions. Thanks :)

This game will be destroyed once it comes out. Ive played this game and am not impressed. The graphics are so so and its hard for you to move around. The ability to fly is the reason it gets 1 star. If your smart youll kick back and watch some anime or even play old school eq. City of heroes just does'nt do it for me.

I have played MMORPGs for 4 years now. Most of that being in everquest. This game is great fun and the best part is you can log in for an hour get a mission done get exp whatever and actually feel like you accomplished something!

No tradeskills to worry about just leap over buldings fly around rooftops and fight the crime infested streets of Paragon City with other superheroes. The character creation system is AMAZING. You can literally create any superhero you can possibly think of. Tiny men to giant amazon women its all there have fun!

I was Excited about getting this game I had been saving up for it and everything ... when I got it I didnt even think about reading it I mean gosh its a game ....... well it turns out its 40 Dollars just to get it then it says that you only get a 30 DAY TRIAL PERIOD then after that YOU NEED TO PAY JUST TO PLAY IT THAT IS A BUNCH OF GOOBER I ALREADY PAID 40 BUCKS AND THEN THEY WANT MORE MONEY JUST SO I CAN PLAY IT .....NO THANK YOU THIS WAS THE WORST PUCHASE I'VE MADE IN MY LIFE ........UNLESS YOU HAVE A GOOD JOB AND/OR ARE RICH DO NOT GET THIS GAME ........ If u don't like this game then, in my opinion ur a stupid <the following has been censored>! You can do nearly anything your favorite super hero can, and with the expansion coming out in 2005 you can even be a villain. And as for that dude who complains about it not working on his computer you don't have to play it then so shut up allready, this game is also almost constantly being updated, that is why u have to pay. So if your not a @#$! like that dude and your into rpgs you'll love this game.

We've had this game for about two weeks and we are still not able to play. About 15 different error messages pop up on the screen! I've done everything possible to fix the problem and now new errors are popping up! My husband seems to think that we need a new graphics card. But I know that I am not wasting any more money on this game. I haven't heard anything good about since we've owned it. As far as I can tell the game isn't worth the money or the headache.

I picked this up recently. People were right about the low populations and such. I thought I'd be good because it said minimum requirement was like a pentium 700 and I had a pentium 3 1000 and I was able to play world of warcraft fine. It was so slow on my computer it was unplayable. It took like 15 seconds after I touched a key for the screen to update. It seems to run ok on a 2 ghz pc though.

It also seems to imply that you can play this on a dialup. The starting patch you get after you load it after you play is 1,200 megs. After I finished downloading it they had a new patch that was like 400 megs..

Luckilly I had DSL but it would of been a nightmare if I was using dialup, probably would of had to download for a week.

Gameplay seems allright and its nice change from some of the others, weird not having currency though.
