Weak Ace Combat Wanna Be

This game was such a disappointment! After playing Halo and being stunned by the graphics capabilities of the X-Box I was excited to try out this game. It has fairly weak graphics and the missions are rather boring. True you get to unlock and fly quite a few different planes but what does that matter when the missions are as boring as they are? Stay clear of this game as there are sure to be much better flight sims available soon on the X-Box.

If my advice redirects just one person's ($$$) to a more deserving software company, it will have been worth my time. Don't walk; RUN away from this title. It's pathetic and (I'm serious) ATARI-like. Shame on you, Konami. I spit on Air Force Delta Storm. My view may be a bit shaded after playing Ace Combat 4 (A truly excellent game), but trust me, you can do a whole lot better. If you really need a flight sim and don't have a PS2, wait for Namco or MS to bring decency to the XBOX in this genre.

Ugh. That's all I have to say. I have been awaiting this game with as much anticipation as the amazing totally recommended halo, but when i finally started to play it, ugh. The graphics looked great on the back of the case, and in many magazines, but in the game, they are just plain boring! Ships look like snapshots moving along the water, and there isn't anything cool that happens when you crash! They went out of their way to make this game's intercace hard to play, and i couldn't even figure out how to start a mission! The planes are just tubes with wings, and this title is not even worth a buck to me!

Great graphics, yet: not tutorial, no lessons, no practice, The main
menu is weak...the list goes on. You should get to practice with any plane, get to choose from a couple missions to start from etc.3/5 bc graphics are good, and fun to play, but still a let down

I bet most of the people that wrote reviews never played the game. I, one the other hand, have. This gmae is a great simulation. The graphics are stunning. The music isnt all that great, but just turn up the sound effects and it will be fine. The contols are good, u basiclly know the controls before u play it. The only real downfall is that the missions start to get a little repetitive. Overall, the game is great and is definitly worth buying if u like air combat, simulation, or if u just like fun

Wow what a bad game. First of all the plot never begins to develop. You work for some Alliance of people who can eat and you fight against the people who cant. Second, the voice acting is simply dismal. Third, you never get shot down! It takes six missles to blow you up but only two to blow up the enemy. And despite what other reviewers have said this game has awful graphics. When you crash you dont explode you just disapear. The missions are practically the same thing everytime. Besides all that the very idea of the game makes no sense. You and your plane are at times up against five enemy planes and eight enemy boats. My god this game is a waste of money!

Two words to best describe AirForce Delat Storm, Friggin Amazing. Not only are the graphics state of the art as proposed to my aviation friends, but the landscape and battlefields are extraodinarily detailed. You will not only have to be aerial dog fighting, but some missions require you to get lower into the ground, making the difficulty only higher, and yet more exciting. I purcahsed AFDS the day it was shipped, and I am still playing it as of now. A must get for X-Box

This game is a disgrace and a joke! I could not believe how lame it is! Ok... the graphics are not bad but how long can that keep your attention??? I have played better flight sims/games on a Coleco-Vision! Within 24 hours after I received it, I already had it up for auction on eBay (...). Do yourself a favor, get a different game.

If you want a children's flight sim...then this is the game for you. The graphics are great, the game however isn't. I would have to say that flying the banshee in Halo is much more fun, and realistic. Bottom line, don't spend the money on this game...or at least find one that allows inverted flight! That's right, you can't fly upside down period! DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GAME!

Well im a student pilot and i can say that this is an above average game. Although yes i agree that the gameplay might leave a little to be desired but Everything else is fine. Im sick of gamers that have no interest in flying, then say how bad the game is. Before you buy a game have some interest in what the game is about. Hey, I dont enjoy football, and thats y i dont buy football games. If you dont like flying, then dont get! its a simple as that. If you like planes and flying then get this game, if you DONT enjoy it, then dont be like the other f00's and buy it, then complain about it.
