good at times

this game is hard at times expecially at times it seems to be impossible to beat and unfair because it may screw up if your doing well. i like this game because it has things that you can do after you win,you can play as anyone off the movie and because it includes parts of the movie.

Too Hard Even on "Easy Level".

I brought this for my 31 yr old son for the Holidays. I have watched him play. He usually finishes all the games so fast! Not this One!!! Ha! Really cool graphics and nice clips from the movies. Happy New Year

Okay so i dont really have the right to be writing a review for this game on account that i havent ACTUALLY seen it in action as of yet but i guarantee that i know as much about it as any other die hardfan: let me stop rambling and explain. I have been like studying this game since i first heard it was going to be released and wow!!! Gandalf, Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Sam and Frodo are all playable characters with 3 or 4 unlockable ones, probably Faramir, Eowyn and Gollum! ok i dont want to sound like a TOTLAL dweeb so basically, to make a long story short, BUY THIS GAME!! It WILL be the BEST movie to game transition to date and the best ever in my heart forever! I was just very dissapointed that i had to wait so long scince The Two Towers was not released on pc. All petty movie to book arguments aside ( i think fans should appreciate the movies' uniqieness and differences from the book and should just view it as a new creation, even though i myself am dissapointed that they didnt follow the books more closely but i LOVE Viggo Mortensen!! ) this will be awesome, totallly recreating the movie and putting its fate into your hands!! iI hope you found this useful, if not im sorry and the website for the game along with theonering.net/ are very helpful and are AWESOME sights!! thanks, God Bless you all!!

THIS IS THE BEST MOVIE-GAME EVER! even enter the matrix or any other movie-game is never this good. u get 3 paths, path of the dead, the wizard, and the ring/hobbits. its crazy! the graphics are soooooooooooooo good its unbelievable! BUY IT! BUY IT! BUY IT! Don't rent it, don't borrow it, BUY IT! its the Best lotr game you can ever get! GET IT! It has kool graphics and best of all, u could play with 9 characters this time! GET IT!

The game is ok if you like hack and slash, with little to no character development and no chance to create your own character. The clips are ok, but the movie was better. Go see the movie, if that's what you want, but don't get the game just for the clips. The DVD will be out soon enough.

Do you want to save your game sometimes? If so, you will have to finish an entire level. I thought I would never get that far. (Yes, I have spent a great deal of time playing games that are this difficult, but better designed). After you get the the 2nd level, what if you want to start a new game? The only way I could do it was to go to the Windows Task Manager and kill the process. After that, I had to restart the game and watch the video intro again. I know they are proud of the graphics (yes, I liked the movie), but....

Game has average graphics (I've seen better though), but that's about it. Gameplay is repetitive and becomes annoying quickly. You spend more time watching the storyline movies than playing the game. Very little flexibility in the game's plot and settings. An overall disappointment to say the least...

this games is cool a lot of say this game is no good because the levels are to hard that is because they have a ps2 or a consal and you can get cheat codes with the consal and there hard to find on pc the levels are chaleging but fun this game has very good graphis so if you want a chaleging game and you like lord or the rings this is the game for you
