REQUIRES 32MB AGP Graphics Card!

I know others have mentioned it, but I spent about an hour before leaving work looking for system requirements. They weren't listed on the official site, Amazon, and any other major electronics retail outlets sites. So I figured my recently purchased laptop would be sufficient. Shelled out my bucks, got the game, started loading it and saw the Video Card requirements. Nothing in the install mentioned it or tested for it. The install took 45+ min (2 discs!). Only when you try to start the game does it check your video card and fail. Wouldn't even start! So I can't review it. I can't even play it!
I've played the Two Towers game on Playstation2 and this was supposed to be better. I was hoping to play it on my PC, but I guess I'll wait. (Sigh!)

I thought this game was excellent and as far as the controls are concerned I had no problem controlling my characters. I would recommend this game to anyone. I really enjoy playing it. I also enjoy the THX sound it comes with as well as the movie clips from the movie. Godbless!

This game is the second best game I have ever played(Madden NFL 2002). Before I give any details, I advise you to read these:
1. You must have a very fast computer(I advise I Pentium IV, like I have).
2. You must have a great graphics card.
3. I advise you to have a Joystick to play.
4. This game is extremely difficult.
Here we go! I have read some of the reviews and they say that it takes 30 minutes to install. It took me 5 minutes to do it. When opening the game and starting a single player adventure you enter the introductery sequence, which takes you to Helm's Deep. Once you get there be prepared for some Uruk-Hai. Once you defeat Helm's Deep, you get to purchase upgrades for your character(Gandalf). After that you, go to the level select screen and then your game continues. There are three character paths, wizard,the hobbits, and the king. The graphics on this game are some of the best in the buisiness. You can also play in CO-OP(multiplayer), which is really fun. If you are up to the challenge, I advise you to get this game.

P.S.- I am on the Pelannor Fields level.

A game where you can just play the roles of your favorite characters form the Lord of the Rings trilogy from Aragorn to Gandalf. You can play by yourself, or you can play with a friend ON THE SAME COMPUTER! The graphics are great, the sound effects are super, and the combos are awesome! I really reccomend this game for people who like action, cooperative play, or fighting games.

This game is pure action. No puzzles but some strategy. Action in third person and many characters: Aragorn, Legolas, Gandalf, Sam, Frodo and other hidden characters.
The line mission will be growing in parallel, according your selected character.
Be careful with system requirements, my PC is middle size: 512M RAM, 20 Gb hard disk, Athlon 1.3GHz CPU, clone computer and a ATI 7500. It's working very nice.

This game seems really cool, but unfortunately my video card is not up to date. I just bought a brand new computer last year with the latest technology, but apparently it's not advanced enough for this game.

Make sure you have the system requirements before buying this game!!!

Buy this game if you are looking to buy a new video card anyway and you enjoy continual frustration. It did take a while to get the hang of the commands, and the route with Frodo and Gandalf are alright, but I have tried and failed to defeat the King of the Dead so many times that I finally just quit. I play these games to relax and this just doesn't do it for me.

I've had this game for about a month now, and I've been complaining about it until I found this patch download.
When I first tried to install the game, it said that I needed to update my graphics card and I got really pissed off. A few weeks later, I found right here on Amazon, a review with a website to make the game work.

Now the game works fine and I'm happy. I gave this product three stars because of the trouble it has caused me, but at least there is a solution.

This is one fun game! I could play it for 9 hours. The graphics are good. I think that the levels are cool.One problem is that some of the stuff didn't happen.I wish the orc bodies didn't dissapear.It would make it look more like real life.
