Okay. First of all, if you like the movies, you're going to love this game. You can take on the role of any of the fellowship that appear in "The Return of the King." This game has very good graphics and a great layout. The gameplay is pretty strait foreward hack-n-slash with a few simple tasks that you have to do. The more enemies you kill, the more experience points you get. Then, when you complete the level, you can use them to buy cool new attacks. The sword-play is realistic and fairly easy to do (although it is a lot easier to use a controller than the keyboard and mouse). All in all, this is a great game. I would highly recommend buying it.
Great Game - Easy to Play

I'm not a gamer (AT ALL) but bought this game on a whim and LOVED IT. I was worried that it wouldn't work on my computer (a 2-year-old Dell with no sort of gaming gear except a large hard drive) but it worked fine!
It's easy to play and entertaining over the long term. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of LOTR - whether you're into gaming or not!

It is a great game and really fun. Just bought the game? Here are some cheat codes for PC- first hold down left shift, left control, and alt. Hold them down and type the following cheat codes- make sure you let the buttons up after every code you put in. if the code works it will make a little clink sound. Here are the cheat codes- restore health-7755, perfect mode (put this in!!) 5964, always devastating-6869, all upgrades-8967, infinite missiles(arrows or knives to throw) 7795, invulnerable-7578, and the last one is only for Gandalf it makes him have level 4 abilities so type it in on the first level!! 6874 Have fun, sweet game! win 'er

I played the game for the PC. I disliked it. It was really repetitive and boring. I wasn't having fun at all. I decided to uninstall it. It deleted everything in the folder in which it was installed. This included 3 GB of valuable files that had taken me a long time to acquire. Not only did the game suck, but the uninstall program sucked even more! I know that's hard to believe, but believe me. Don't get this game, but if its too late for that, don't install it because if you ever take the program down, it will bring others along. If its installed already, you're stuck with it forever, unless you want to lose valuable programs as well. Nice going EA Games.

Seeing that I haven't actually played the game, naturally, I can't assure you from expirience. But I have played the demo, and read just about everything about the game.
First off, the graphics are very nice, not Halo 2 quality but nicely done.
Second, if you want a challenge, this is your game, its very very difficult, I pride myself as a rather good gamer, and I couldn't even beat the Demo! Of course, I didn't have any upgrades and it DID have unlimited orcs. . . The health packs are very spread out, just enough to keep you on the edge of death.
Third, you get to play: Frodo, Sam, Gandalf, Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli. Not to mention the four bonus characters, who are, I'm guessing, Theoden, Eowyn, Eomer, and. . . Treebeard? Gollum?
Saruman?
all in all, get the game.

This game has its good and bad points...
GOOD
-Very good and clear graphics
-Has co-op mode
BAD
-Frustratingly DIFFICULT!
-Extremely LONG cutscenes!
-Lousy camera angles!
I expected this could be better than The Two Towers but it stayed as lousy as that EXCEPT that Return of the King is far more difficult.
I'm WARNING U...THINK TWICE B4 BUYING THIS GAME!
Best movie tie-in game ever!!!

Well, first of all this game is one of the best games I have ever played(Except for The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, which I also recomend). All the other reveiwers that said that said you had to have aquired a 32mb video card and that it took two days to install. They obviously have a Windows 98 or 95, DUH!!! Anyway, this game has extremely good graphics, aside from the every-once-in-a while glich. The camera angles aren't bad once you've played it for a while.
Overall, I gave this game five stars because, the movie tie-ins leave you to feel like your driving the movie, I like hack & slash games, I am a major fan of LOTR, and you actually use strategy unlike The Two Towers. I recomend this game to the casual and die-hard gamer alike!!!! Klacktoo Verada Nickto!!
Perfect!

Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! The game is great! Got it for Christmas and have not put it away yet!
Great Graphics, sound and Gameplay. Cutscenes are amazing! (You can skip them after watching them once by pressing ENTER.)
The controls are weird, but you can configure them to your liking.
Nine characters: The old trio, Gandalf, Sam and Frodo, and three secret characters.
Thirteen levels plus other secret levels.
WARNING: The game is VERY DIFFICULT!!! You will be fustraited. This game ranks among the most difficult games I have ever played in all the years of my life. But the more difficult something is, the longer it lasts you, and the more fun it is.
Good game for LOTR fans

I am a huge LOTR fan, so naturally I bought this game, not realizing at the time that I didn't have a video card that would support it. When it wouldn't run, I asked my boyfriend, who is a computer expert, what the problem was, and he said it was that I didn't have the right video card. I ended up buying a new video card, and since then the game runs perfectly. Challenging game, even on easy level, but fun. However, cutscenes are tedious after the first time or two. Also, the game is much easier to play with a gamepad than with keyboard and mouse. Buy it if you are a LOTR fan, but first make sure your computer meets the requirements, especially the video card.
