A GAME THAT IS STILL FUN AND NEEDS TO BE REMADE ON PS2!!!!

I CANT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS GAME. I HAVE BEEN ALL OVER THE WEB PRAISING IT SINCE THE FIRST DAY I GOT A COMPUTER. IF YOU ARE A TRUE GAMER, AND ENJOY A CHALLENGE, THAT NEEDS NOT JUST SKILL WITH A CONTROLLER, BUT INTELLIGENCE, THEN, THIS IS THE GAME FOR YOU. I HAVE YET TO PLAY A GAME THAT HAS SOOOOOO MUCH PACKED IN IT. YOU HAVE TO GIVE THE GAME A CHANCE. I WOULD NOT TRADE MINE FOR ANYTHING IN THIS WORLD. IT IS SUPERB AND IS COMPARABLE WITH ALL THE NEW PS2 GAMES OUT THERE. I PERSONALLY THINK IT IS BETTER, AND SHOULD SET THE STANDARD FOR ALL FPS. THE WORLDS ARE VAST, AND WONDERFUL TO EXPLORE. THE CHEATS MAKE THE GAME MORE FUN BECAUSE EVEN WITH THEM YOU HAVE TO BE SMART. YOU HAVE TO HAVE GREAT RECALL. I PUT IT UP AGAINST ANY GAME OUT THERE. THE MUSIC IS GREAT, THE LEVELS ARE HUGE AND AWESOME. YOU GET A LOT OF GAME FOR THE MONEY. IT TAKES HOURS TO PLAY AND YOU WILL NOT BEAT IT IN ONE DAY, ESPECIALLY WITHOUT THE CHEATS. FOR THOSE WHO THINK THEY CAN, I DARE YOU TO TRY. HA, YOU WONT GET PAST LEVEL THREE. THE CHEATS ACTUALLY ENHANCE THE GAME PLAY AND YOU HAVE A LOT OF THEM. AS I SAID BEFORE, YOU GET A LOT OF GAME FOR THE MONEY. IT IS FAR BETTER THAN TUROK EVOLUTION..WHEN THEY MADE THIS GAME..THEY OUT DID THEMSELVES. MY HAT IS OFF TO THE GENIOUS'S THAT DID TUROK SEEDS OF EVIL..EXCELLANT. BE PATIENT, GIVE IT A CHANCE, AND DONT THINK THE FIRST LEVEL IS THE WAY THE WHOLE GAME IS,,..EVERY LEVEL/WORLD IS VASTLY DIFFERENT..AND IN SOME PARTS SCARY. THE MUSIC IS GREAT AND ADDS TO THE AMBIENCE. YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED.

Turok 2: Seeds of Evil is the ultimate first person shooter game. Along with stunning graphics and intense realism, Turok 2 has all that a good 1st person shooter game needs, guns, guns, and more guns. Choose anything you like from Turok's deadly arsenal, things like the alien Crebral Bore, to the classic 12 gauge shotgun. Along with "intelegent" enemies, Turok 2 comes complete with maze like levels where each wrong turn can cost a player his/her life. As many other games do, Turok comes with code capabilities to unlock special weapons, and many other hilarios cheats like "big head mode," or "fruity stripes." All in all, Turok 2 is a great game, with graphic violence to the core. This game would be best for the kind of person that enjoys games like Doom, or Duke Nukem.

-Pros: Great graphics, Extended game-play, Deadly weapons, Intelegent enemies,

-Cons: Hard core violence(opinion may differ,) Graphic gore, Scary late night game-play,

I guess that it had been a while since I had played Turok I and so I went out and got II. The graphics and action are very good but the downfall is that you have to keep backtracking into former levels (that I often don't remember from playing a couple of days ago) when you acquire a needed piece of the puzzle. This has caused me to quit the game out of tedium as I cannot unlock a level and have grown tired of back tracking to hidden areas for the needed keys. Mind you I say all this even with a gaming guide open on my lap as I play. So unless you are really dedicated/obsessive (I could see doing this when I was 15-18 years old) I can't advise wasting your time with more aggravation when you are just looking for a couple hours of escapist fare

DISAPPOINTING

This game was very disappointing. It was not at all as good as the first one.It is much more difficult to aim in this game than it was in the first Turok, the levels-although they now have significantly more diverse terrain-are smaller, more boring, and less challenging than the ones in the original. And for a game called "Turok:DINOSAUR hunter", you would think that a significant number of your enemies would be actual dinosaurs,-not fictionalized, laser gun wielding, apelike lizards that never actually existed-but real dinosaurs based on actual scientific evidence. But no,not much of that either. The small portion of level 2 where you get to to ride around on a styracosaurus(a dinosaur of the same general appearance as a triceratops but with a slightly different arrangement of horns)that has 2 rocket launchers and a machine gun strapped to its back seemed to be one of the only actual significant new additions to the game, but even it wasn't all that great since you can only do it in one small part of one level, and it really would have been cool to see 1 or 2 other rideable creatures(like maybe a raptor or maybe a brontosaurus or something). The end bosses are so incredibly difficult that I found it next to impossible to beat the game without using a cheat code. They give you to a whole aresenal of cool weapons that you will probably only use to a couple of times because of the lack of both ammunition and enemies. And, last but not least, THE FOG STILL COVERS VIRTUALLY EVERYTHING INFRONT OF YOU!The only difference is that in some places the fog has been replaced with darkness. So basically, the only things in this game that are actually interesting are the ability to ride a creature and the 2 weapons that allow you to zoom in on enemies.Rent this but don't buy it unless your a diehard fan or if you see it for really cheap used.Oh and by the way, it glitches ever so slightly when a large number of the in game cheats are put into action.

Turok 2 is a game that is challenging and fun. If you're a person that likes games that you can beat after two days, Turok is not for you. turok 2 is hard, it takes determination and patience. I was dissapointed about it to but when I blew the head off of my first enemy, I had to get to the big boss which was hard. The controlls are bad, I admit that but once you play it for a few days, it's a cake walk. You might want to get a memory pak with a lot of pages because you can't win without it. It is also helpfull to have Prima's book which makes it a lot easier. there are codes but that defeats the pourpose ,they make it stupid.

The last of the great turok games

At first I didnt know what to expect. I mean after all a sequal isn't as good at the first. Not in this case. Turok2 is the best out of all the 4 Turok games for Nintendo. With its great graphics and new weapons this will probably be one of the best games you can buy. The game might be old and not as good as the newer games it still brings exitment to your finger tips.

One of the best things about this game is when you kill an enemy you can sometimes cut/blow off a limb, and blood just comes pooring out.

The enemies might not be as smart as other games and stuff, but they can be hard to kill.

If your looking for a good game with loads of fun, hard lvl's and tons of secrets then this is the game for you.

If you think this game is good and the other ones after it are too, your thinking wrong. I was dissapointed with the other Turok games, they have horrible graphics and its totaly pointless.

This game might not be sutable for all ages

Turok 2: Seeds of Evil.......

Turok 2: Seeds of Evil is the sequel to Turok Dinosaur Hunter that not only surpasses that game in it's greatness but is my most favorite game in the series of four games that came out on the N64. Everything that made the original such a great game to play was improved upon, especially in the way of graphics. With the expansion pak, graphics had 'almost' a Playstation 2 quality to them. It's something that showed with this game. It showed in the textures of the environments, the details of the architecture, lighting effects and other eye candy. The game was also bigger and better than any other game, with the exception of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, in it's 32 meg cartridge. As you've probably read in the courtesy review, it's been stated to have over 45 hours of playtime. While I don't know about that, personally, as I hadn't checked where I stand within the game..one thing I do know is it's one lengthy meaty game to sink your teeth(playtime) into.

While Turok 2: Seeds of Evil stood in the shadow of Rare's Goldeneye during it's release, Turok 2 still stands the test of time in terms of gameplay and is one game every Nintendo fan should add to their collection. If not for the fact that it had a killer storyline and an awesome arsenal of weapons to play with, then for the fact it was an absolute beauty of a game.

Awesome!

Although some reviewers think that the single player on this game is "boring" or "sad" this game has one of the best gaming engines, with beutiful graphics and awesome sound the gameplay is a large improvement on the original. The puzzles and gameplay on some levels does get repetitive, it barely takes away from the overall experiance. The weapons in single player are some of the best I've seen. In the multi player you and a friend can choose in being a few different people and fictional beasts, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. The only gripe that I have with the game is that you cannot use some of the weapons in the multi player levels. The game is hard, and the controls are confusing, but if you enjoy games like Goldeneye or Quake, this will give you a nice challenge and a good emersive game. I would definately rent this one before you buy as the gore may be too much for you.

The Dinohunter is back, and ready for you.

I'll be brief. This game adds a nice filler for us searching for the certain thrill of killin dinosaurs. This game has some good points. They are graphics, gameplay, the guns, the environment, and the massive levels. But some cons: The massive levels, yes, sometimes, they do get a tad big for ones own good. Also, some framerate problems, really bring down the shooting accuracy. But, is this enough to spoil this game? Not at all. This game keeps giving you more more more...and then some. You think your safe, when your worst nightmare lurks around that next corner. You'll play for hours, without the boredom effect. And once it sets in, you realize you've been play 12 hours, and want more. Yes, this game is certainly a keeper.

One of the best games ever

While the first Turok was a great game, there was too much variablity in gameplay -- long, boring sections followed by areas that were almost impossible to beat. Turok 2 maintains solid gameplay throughout, and aside from the framerate/accuracy issue, has a strong mix of action and puzzles with good gameplay throughout.

I have every major console, and Turok 2 is still one of my favorites, even compared to the newer Dreamcast games.
