This game is very awesome. The graphics, the characters, the weapons, and the music are all top rate. Turok 2 probably has the best graphics of any other system or game out there. I have never seen anything like. The music also makes me think I am listening to some huge band playing. The first Turok was good but Turok 2 is 10 times better. Though this game is extremely gorey. And as a plus side from all of shootings that has been happening here, this game does not contain any humans beside your character to fight. All you fight is dinosaurs, dino-hybrids, monsters, and nasty spiders. This game is my favorite from all the games I played. Only Zelda is better.

I agree with everything in the review titled "disappointing". I haven't bothered to get to the end of the game. It's not worth it. The graphics are amazing; so what! The movement, control, and aiming are the worst I've encountered in in a 1st person shooter/rpg. The monsters are trite and boring; they were much better in the first Turok which was a far superior game to this commitee- designed mess. Acclaim went out of their way to give you more gore, splatter & agonized death throes. When you accomplish the annoyingly inane --but not mentally challenging-- tasks, you are left with the hollow sensation of having wasted alot of energy to accomplish absolutely nothing, and the frustration of loose control lingers. Don't waste your money; more importantly, don't waste your time on Turok 2.

i never thought a game could give me nightmares.. actually, i only thought resident evil could give me nightmares.. step aside. turok 2 is so intense, playing it put me on edge. beyond labyrinthine levels, garish enemies, weapons of mass destruction and a fairly easy style of play make this game awesome. insanely difficult levels, enemies and missions, not to mention preserving ammo made this game impossible. a very daunting game for beginners, a treat for most others.

I disagree completely with Mr. Two-Star over there.

Turok 2 is an instant classic in the Nintendo 64 gaming world. It is challenging enough to keep even the best gamers busy for many hours, and the graphics are absolutely gorgeous. I haven't been able to find a RAM pak yet, but I am anxious to see what it looks like with that new capability. I must disagree completely with the guy that rated it two stars, however. It is obvious that he is a disgruntled ten year old, only complaining because he wasn't good enough to find the save points (whine, whine) and he says the cheat codes aren't good enough. He probably uses strategy guides the first time through, as well. Anyways, I just finished playing Zelda and Half-Life (on the PC), which were both incredible, and it turns out that cheat codes, which I didn't use for either, don't make the game.

All in all, Turok 2 belongs in anyone's gaming library, but don't cheat if you want the full experience, which earns my five star rating.

The best N64 game to date.

Turok 2: Seeds of Evil is the best first-person N64 game I have played yet. In my opinion, it is better that GoldenEye. The graphics, control (very intuitive and accurate), sound and gameplay are all incredible.

It is Horrible!!!!!!!!

Turok 2 is one of the most tedious and boring games I have ever played. Not only are there no human enemies but all of them are really unrealistic enemies like huge human-dinosaur hybrids. I have to admit that the graphics are incredible for N64 but other than that and the realistic portion (you can blow enemy's heads, arms, and legs off with the more powerful weapons) The game offers levels that are to large and do not have enough save points. Another thing that bothers me is that you cannot use any of the good codes like all guns and unlimited ammo and invincibility.

turok 2 is probly no:1 in the series.it has some of the coolest weapons i've seen in a first person shooter.the AI enemys are smart(gasp!)when you try to shoot them they actually dodge the shot.multi-player is great.but i dont understand how the "graphic voilence"is to intence for kids im twelve me and my brothers play it all the time(and their 9/8 year olds!).this is defiently one of the best 1st person shooters of all time!

Turok2: Cheat, and You'll Like This Game

They say this game has some design-flaws. The levels are too big. You get stuck, can't find keys, etc. to get to the next level. Not enough save points. The frame rate drops too low sometimes. Let me tell ya, it's all true. But, don't let that stop you from buying and enjoying this Great Little Gem of a game.

You can buy this game for almost nothing today. Enter the main cheat code: "bewareoblivionisathand". That unlocks all the cheats. Turn on "all objects" and when you play you will have all the level keys, etc. right from the start. You will never get stuck. You can "warp" to any level, anyway, if you do get stuck, or just feel like it. You can also turn on invincibility, all weapons, all map, all ammo cheats. So don't worry about the levels being big, or objects hard to find, or not enough save points.

They say the frame rate slows down. Play the game in low-rez mode, and the problem goes away. Then, the graphics look like Turok 1, which I always thought looked pretty good to me.

Anyway, once these issues are put aside, you can start to enjoy what's really cool about this game. It has awesome enemies! They're really cool! I love how you can retreive your arrows from walls, boxes, and dead enemies. Great visuals! Look around: awesome fire effects. Look up: birds circling overhead. Kill an enemy: the "throws of death" are really animated!

You don't have to unlock every secret in this game. Just enjoy the levels as you move through them, and go on to the next one.

Don't ever go backwards. Then it's boring because all the enemies are already dead. Use the cheat codes and just go forward through all the levels.

There is a lot to like about this game, and these days it's so cheap to buy, so, cheat, and you'll probably really like this game!

After playing "Turok: The Dinosaur Hunter" for ten minutes, I realized I had a great game at hand. It was like Mortal Kombat, except in a shooting-game. Blood everywhere, amazing enemies and weapons, and a good, good time. And I'll admit this; I don't actully play the Turok games. No, I'm sorry, I don't. It's not that their hard, or boring, but I don't play them...well, not without the cheats at least. As soon as I find out a new Turok game's coming, I get on the internet, go to Happypuppy.com, and find the Master Cheat. Yeah, it's pretty low, but it's fun to go in these blood-soaked shooter games. And the second one is no exception. I played this game without cheats for a few hours, made up my mind, and decided it was great, and would be even better with cheats.

Half an hour later, I came back with the Master cheat in my hand, which is "BEWAREOBLIVIONISATHAND", or, if you break it down, "BEWARE OBLIVION IS AT HAND". Within minutes, I had an amazing arsenal, all maps, invincibility, and more by my side. The weapons...well, let's just say the first Turok can't touch them. You have the usual knife and bow and arrow, pistol, shotgun, and the rest, but you now also have a nuke, pod layer (which lays bombs on the ground and they explode on contact), a machine gun (as the first had, but this one's much better), the Cerebrial Bore (the most gory weapon of all. It launches out a little ball, and it goes straight for the enemies head. When it gets there, it starts sucking and draining blood form their head, then, after 5 second, it explodes, and takes the enemies head with it), my personal favorite, the Razor Wind (a shield with sharp edges on it. You throw it and it cuts up all enemies in it's path, then come right back to you. It can chop off just about any limb you throw it at; the head, the legs, and the arms), and another physical weapon, the War Blade. The name says it all.

Overall, this game is a vast improvement, and is the best yet (but that might change as soon as I play "Evolution"). The graphics are great, awesome story, vast, detailed enviroments, and some hot blue chick that always pops up. What more could you ask for?

When I heard about turok 2 comming out I was so friggin phyced!
I wasnt dissapointed.
It was even bettter than the first. It was
a little sci fi for me though. And what was up with turok...
He looked so young. I really didnt get the story. If you get the cheats its even better! Even more awsome weapons for you to
use. You kick alien ass and take names!
This is one of my favorite sequals for a video game.
Its very original. The game is frustrating without cheats but
its really fun and cool. Its pretty much as violent as the
first one.
I love this game!
