Spider man is a really cool game. There are tons of costumes and character profiles to unlock. The controls are hard to get used to but I figured them out. A spider man fan or not buy this game. You will be impressed.

this game is so cool its wierd.
and all the time you are tring to figure out
who framed spiderman.
you get to fight VENOM,RINO,and many more!!!
tis game is hard,not because people are tring
to kill you.but because you have to look for comic books.
this game IS SO COOL BECAUSE YOU GET TO CHANGE SUITS.
THIS IS A MUST BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A little disappointing but the best Spider Man game so far.

I thought I would wait til I finished to review this game, but I have grown very tired of having to start at the beginning of each level over and over. There are checkpoints in the levels, but I often stop in the middle and leave the game on and it always hangs so I have to reload from my nvram pack which saves only at the start of the level.

Rants : annoying game save. It can only see one controller so you are constantly swapping in and out your rumblepack.

poor control. there are some mortal combat like sequences which cause certain web events and combos, but they only work one time out of two for me so they are pretty useless when fighting.

web swinging is essentially 2d. You have no momentum side to side.

Spider sense is never helpful.

The action getting to some of the bosses is boring. Reminicent of some of the early LucasArts jedi games.

Raves : Well its spiderman, the sounds and voices are good, the enemy AI is fine, and the bosses are all challenging so far. Its fun to have spider powers in a 3d space too.

Conclusion : I think team mario could have really done something with this concept. This plays like a lazy port from an inferior platform (which I guess it is), but its still a must have for spiderman fans.

The costumes are right, the enemys are right , and the story is right. the c buttons take a little bit getting use to but i got the hang of it. The play control is fast and responds quickly. It's the superhero game that finally got everything right.

This is the best Spider-man game i've played, since Maximum carnage. This game is so sweet and you get to Battle a lot of classic Villians, Like Scorpion, Venom and others. It would be cool if you could play black cat. And what is better is that you get to change your costume from the original version, street version and venom version. This game is sweet. this is a must have.

If you liked this game check out all of the other Spider-Man games.

Neat game; I'm shocked to see graphics so well done!

I very seldom, if ever, write an online review about anything, really..but after trying Activision's SpiderMan video game, I felt compelled to post my opinion, and this is what I've concluded.This video game has very cool graphics -- very life-like; I give it a "10" on video-imagery. The story line is awesome too; I think any Marvel comic enthusiast would be interested in this game; I also wouldn't be surprised if this game cartridge, one day, became a major collector's item.The only negative thing I have to say about Activision's SpiderMan video game is "the spiderweb functions; i.e. web spikes, impact webbing, web yank, etc., are difficult to control"; Even with a lot of practise, it's quite clear that one has to manipulate the controller in precisely the correct manner in order to obtain the spiderweb function one desires, at the time. So, Activision, I give you a "2" rating on that feature (the web features are neat, but it doesn't help much if you can't get it to do what you want, when you want it).My overall view of this game: Despite the obvious problem with the spiderweb features (letter "C" on the controller), I still have much fun playing this game, and would recommend it to any one who is looking for something new and interesting to add to their video game collection; therefore, I'm giving Activision's SpiderMan a rating of "4" stars. I belive it's worth the money.

Swing in to action on the rofftops of justice as you fight of villians fiddling with the law. Jump from building to building while squirting webs and crawling on the ceiling, out of the reach of crooks. You can select kid mode as a difficulty, allowing you unlimeted web spinning, or select regular difficulty, having to stock up on web cartridges. Enjoy the view from behind spider-man, fighting method, and not having to worry about plunging to the streets, because you can easily sling yourself back up to the safety of a building.
Buy this game, trust me you won't regret it.

I have played many games based on sper heroes but this game is in a class by its self. Other game have a few of the heroes powers and attributes but not this one. In this game you can do EVERYTHING that Spiderman can do. E V E R Y T H I N G Even after you beat the game you still wanna play it because it just that much fun.

The best one player game you can get with a superhero.

With all of the hidden things in the game...and the accurate depiction of our favorite hero, Spider-man. The ONLY downfall is no multi-player function. But oh well, get Mario Party 3 if you want to do something with your friends. Get this game first though, its worth it!
