This game is fun but it gets old after a while. The tracks are very cool, but you are only given two to start with. Then you have to play those tracks over and over to get any more. If you are good at racing you will like this. I am not so this was difficult. The beetle battle modes are fun too. If you are not a good race driver you may find this a little difficult. The cars are really neat though. If you want to have fun playing tracks over and over, you should get a memory card.
Shake the hand of the person who owns this.....

This game rocks the most. Quite possibly the best racing game for the N64, Beetle Adventure Racing packs so much into a single game pak that you wonder just what exactly does go on inside of that cartridge. Unlike other N64 racing games, BAR look just as darn good as anything you'd find on many Dreamcast games. The graphics are lush. Plus, there's stuff going on off of the track. Trains go by, warehouses operate and some freaky looking pumpkin things dance around. It offers much more to look at than, say, any Crusin' title. The control is superb, even the poor handling cars are a blast to play with. There's a Goldeneye multiplayer rip off where your car is outfitted with missles and bombs and the such. you get to go around collecting beetles which is just an excuse to kick the living daylights out of your annoying kid brother. Not that we :cough: ever do that.
one of the best 64 games made

I recently picked this game up used, and I am glad I did. Despite the fact that the Nintendo 64 seems like an antique system, this is one of those well-done games that stands the test of time.
Basically the only 2 games I have been playing are the PS2 titles Hawk 4 and Vice City. But since I picked up Beetle Racing, that one has racked up quite a bit of playing time as well. For Beetle to be compared with those 2 games must tell you something.
Despite the gimmicky-appeal of the new Beetle being the centerpiece for a video game, make no mistake, Beetle Racing succeeds in every way possible. The graphics, play control, fun factor, sound, and replay value all measure up, even against the newer products on the market.
You may have a difficult time finding this game since the 64 is an obsolete system, but if you do, pick it up.
when your done reading this go buy it!

Beetle Adventure Racing is a fun racing game for all ages. The graphics are amazing for a Nintendo 64. The Championship mode is a little to easy though. But I really love the Beetle Battle mode, especially with four players. It deserves 5 stars by far. It is a game well worth the money. It will keep you entertained for hours played levels, earning cars, and much more.

THERE ARE SIX LONG TRACKS TO RACE ON. I'VE ONLY SEEN FOUR.. COVENTRY COVE, MOUNT MAYHEM, INFERNO ISLE & SUNSET SANDS. THE TRACKS I HAVE YET TO PLAY ARE.. METRO MADNESS & WICKED WOODS. MY FRIENDS AND I LOVE THIS RACING GAME. IT IS WELL MADE, NICE LOOKING & EASY TO CONTROL. YOU MUST BEAT THE INDIVIDUAL TRACKS ON CHAMPIONSHIP MODE FOR THEM TO APPEAR ON SINGLE RACE & TWO PLAYER MODES. I LOVE THE BOOST BOXES, THE SHORT CUTS, THE CAMERA OPTIONS & BEETLE BATTLE MODE. IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A QUAILITY RACING GAME AT A NOW AFFORDABLE PRICE.. "BEETLE ADVENTURE RACING" FOR YOUR N64 IS AN EXCELLENT CHOICE.

My wife and I first rented this title and came to the immediate conclusion to buy it. Racing die-hards may be a bit disappointed with the game play, but the scenery is top notch. I only wish that all race courses were available, instead of having to master old courses to unlock new ones. Beetle Bash is a real hoot. A friend and I find that watching our wives try to blow each other up is almost more satisfying than playing against each other.

It was really astonishing that a bettle could move the way it does on this game. It is action packed with new features all the time. You can design your car as you go along in the game, and one would never think a bettle could move so fast. I have enjoyed playing the game and recommend anyone who enjoys racing to try this one
An excellent racing game

I enjoy this game more than "Mario Kart 64". The courses are beautiful with plenty of hidden surprises. Its an easy game to learn right out of the box. My only problem with the game is that you must earn access to four or the six race courses and six of the nine battle arenas.
Great Game (check out my page:www.expage.com/alsapt)

I think that Beetle Adventure Racing is an awsome game. A couple of friends and I have this game and we love it! You have single player races (basically to see your best time), chapionship races, & Beetle Battles (This game is so fun, and it has so many scenarios!). I don't know if this helps you a whole lot, but this game is really fun. Check it out. Sorry for the spelling.
Bye!
