Great idea. Horrible writing and sound recognition = unplayable.

I was really looking forward to this. I like the idea of a game challenging you to improve your thought speed by daily training. Very intriguing premise.
However after trying out the game at a DS download station at a local Gamestop I don't think I'll be picking it up.
The game has huge problems with recognition. On one of the tests you have to say the color a word is written in, not the word (which is a different color), into the mic. I would have gotten every one right and in good time but the DS could not recognize my speech. Which I thought to be somewhat strange since I generally pronounce my words quite well. So, after clearly enunciating BLUE! for the fifth time the game finally recognized what I was saying.
Ugh.
Next up was the quick math test, where you do simple arithmetic problems in rapid succession. Now I will admit that my writing isn't very neat but come on! The DS recognized all my 9's as 8's, oftentimes it would skip the next problem after I'd only just put the stylus to screen with an answer giving me an incorrect for the problem, and when it wasn't misreading my solutions it simply wouldn't recognize them at all; giving me a question mark for my efforts and I would have to do the problem again.
What I find exceedingly frustrating here is that I like the idea and I want to play the game, (or use the tool, depending on your perspective) but at least for me it seems impossible to achieve accurate results.
Highly disappointing.

As the games states, "Just a few minuets a day." I've had it for 2 weeks now, and I have seen a difference in my scores.

Fun wireless gameplay with friends.

I bought this game a few weeks ago. I am into this kind of stuff so I thought it would be really fun for me. At first, however, I found it be really boring. I thought to myself "This is it?". After a couple of days of exploring and getting used to it, it has become extremely addicting. My teenage little sister and cousin have become addicted too.

The only problems I have with the game are that when you do your Brain Age Check, there aren't many exercises. I wish there were more. I get tired of the same ones over and over. Also, it is really annoying that sometimes it doesn't recognize your writing. However, I have found that the bigger you write the number, the more likely it is to get it right. The other problem, as many others have stated, is that the software has a really, really hard time recognizing the word "blue". It has actually become an extremely funny inside joke between my cousin, sister, and I. My cousin has finally come up with a remedy to the "blue" problem. When you say it, hold the "oo" sound out longer. Works every time! Unfortunately, trying to do that without laughing, can be challenging.

FUN! USEFUL! COOL! and this from a MOM!!!!

I LOVE this -- my WHOLE family does it every day -- there are memory, math, reading, and different types of exercises you "train your brain" with on a daily basis - with "rewards" for training regularly and then a BRAIN AGE TEST to see what age your braiin functions at -- the younger the better :) WE LOVE IT!

Good brain work and suduko to boot

I got this game for the reason it was made, to exercise my brain with a bunch of mini exercises. It does just that. It has several different kinds of games and I try to play it 5 - 10 minutes a day.

It also has around 100 Suduko puzzles and the interface for playing them is quite excellent.

The brain age checks are fun and varied (though some are hard). Some of the games offer a normal and hard mode (maybe the all do, but I have not unlocked them yet). Most of the hard modes are a just a step up, with the exception of triangle math.

It's a fun game and it will make your brain feel a bit younger.

I have a 11-year old son who owns a nintendo ds and I decided to get him brain age. Surprisingly, he really liked it. I am intrigued by the game. Every day he tells me his brain age and it really is going up. On the first day it was a 72 and now it's a 28. This game must really be working, I thought to myself, so maybe I'll make an account. That's what I did. I was happily surprised by the game. It has math, reading, memory, and (my favorite) sudoku! I thouroughly recommend this game for it really works and is also fun to play. Your child (and you) can play a video game and learn tons! Have a kid who doesn't like math or reading? I guerentee this game will make him/her satisfied as well as you. It works in no time! Next time present giving time rolls around I definently believe you should give him the game. Five stars!

really good for your brain!

After I purchased this game I found that there was more to it than I first thought. The guy on the game keeps up with when you last played and how long it has been since you trained your brain last. There are quite a few things that I didn't know about this game until I started playing it more and more. There are a few thing that I might change about the game, like the stupid looking floating head that instructs you on your training. But over all this is a pretty decent game and worth $20.

Good game...

This is a good game. every day, you test of 3 fun games that are randamly chosen, to see how old your brain age is, the lowest possible score is 25! Then, you get a stamp every day you TRAIN. when you train you get a stamp and the more stamps you get, then you can unlock games and diffuculty of games. you can also do suduko's on your DS, you actually write the number, and today's technology takes over and it knows what you wrote.

LOVE IT!
