this game has every thing you need. the graphics are the bestand the fighting is great. i would recommend this game to any one.

Thisis disappointing. It seems slow and sluggish, especially when compared to Ready2Rumble. Plus, it has to hit th disc for an annoyingly long time to see the between rounds movies/scenes. Because of this, it is difficult to get into any kind of flow.

It is a fairly realistic game requiring you to work jabs, etc. in order to set up big punches. But overall, I'm glad I only rented it instead of dropped ... on it.

And the graphics are pretty lame too...

An instant classic!!!!!!!!!

This game is just a great game! Ive been a boxing game fan since EA release Ring King in the arcades. Always wondering why there never was a top notch boxin series, well the original KO kings came out in 99 for psx, and i loved it, it left a lot to be desired, but it was at least a boxing game to be excited about! KO kings 2000 came out, and i was sorta heartbroke, i thought the game went downhill as it seemed more like a fighting game of who can press buttons fastest than a boxing game..No comes 2001 for psx2, and it is the best game i think ive ever played, its great! It takes about 2 hours of play to start being truly fun, and im still getting whooped so it gonna take months to master. Graphics and gameplay are great and smooth, and its a good mix of fast action with boxing tactics also needed..must buy!

I've had this game for four hours...and that's 3 hours 50 minutes too long. I'm taking it back tomorrow. It's just a bunch of random button mashing. Combos don't really work or seem to make a difference. The graphics are pretty pathetic...the boxers heads are always pointed towards the screen...I guess the developers were proud of the faces. \

It is a good game overall, however, if you want a good creat of boxer this is not what you want. I for one WOULD like to have a decent creat a boxer. this one doesn't even beat The Greatest Heavywieght's creat a boxer. They had to scan in people which to me was a total bad idea.

I hope EA Sports makes 4 Major improvements on 2002 version.

1.ALOT BETTER Creat of Boxer! maby a creat of manager/trainer/cut man. 2.Creat Female Boxers. 3.LARGER line up! 40 All Star Boxers my ...! Get back to the basics and allow a 30 rank Heavywieght league maby 34 so 4 other people can be on at the same time, and if they wanna pass you there gonna have to beat yah. and 4. ALLOW defending the championship belt!

These are what keep Knockout Kings from becoming the greatest Boxing game ever.

So many people gave this 5 stars. why? the graphics are subpar, and the playability is not very good. If you don't have a playstation 2 yet, don't worry because there is only 1 really 5 star game out for it being SSX. If you have a playstation 2 and are thinking about this game, don't or you'll be sorry.

Ill keep it short, dont waste your time. Load times are horribly long and they focus too much on the boxers of my grandpas age. They try and add new things like female boxers (only like 3 or 4 of them) but you cant have a career with them. Also it would be cool if you could create a boxer with a name longer than 5 letters. And stuff like choosing your corner men is stupid too cause they all look the same and dont do anything anyway. Now dont get me wrong I love EA sports, I think they are the best, but this game ... im sorry. Dont waste your cash on this!!! Or go ahead, but dont say I didnt warn you!!!

This game is just average in my opinion. Also, I simply don't understand how "Felix Trinidad" could be missing?!! As I recall he was the best fighter when this game was released. Kind of a disappointment.

What can I say about this game? I've been playing it for the past week or so and it is indeed incredible. It far surpasses the two games before it. The graphics are literally staggering. The knockdowns are incredible, and most of all, it is too much fun to play. The fighting system is so much better in this one. In other words, you don't have to necessarily decrease your opponent's health meter in order to knock him out. The season mode is somewhat similar to the past two games. You fight a ton of matches, win the title, defend it about 6 or 7 times, then your boxer retires. But it's still a lot of fun. For those looking for a realistic boxing game with mind-blowing graphics to boot, you can't go wrong with this. I guess my only problem with the game would be the create-a-boxer mode. The amount of looks to choose from is extremely limited. Otherwise it's a top-notch game.

This game is really cool. I loved the "Create your own boxer". I also liked the game because it shows all the great boxers. You will really love this game.
