I would have given this game a 5 star rating if it weren't for the loading between each level. It is really a great game with all new levels and new bosses. If you are a fan of all the previous Crash games this is a must have.

Can't stand that this game takes forever and a day to load. That is all I have to say. The game is a lot like previous games, but it takes FOREVER to LOAD! If you don't mind waiting for the loading then go for it. Otherwise I would go for a different game.

The loading times dont take long to me.every one lied the loading times only take 20 seconds.every one wrote blah blah blah the loading times take forever.well they dont trust me they dont.anyway what happens in this game uka uka is mad at cortex the rest of the evil gang.but cortex comes up with an evil plan and its up to crash to save the day.the chacatars in this game are crash,coco,aku aku,pura,cortex,uka uka,n.gin,n.tropy,crunch,tiny tiger,dingodile,the elamentals masks called rok-ko,wa-wa,py-ro,and lo-lo.the only bosses in this game are crunch the elamentals masks.there are five warp rooms.the levels are really cool there are levels about riding a jeep,being chased by a dragon,controling a robot,controling a submraine,coco being chased by water,rolling in ball,and lots of other cool levels.BUY THIS GAME IT IS FUN!

This game is by far my families favorite. We are all still new to gaming but of the many titles we have the one which remains in our PS2 console 95% of the time is Crash Bandicoot. My son is 4 and completely addicted. Some of the levels are too difficult for him but they are not so difficult that he becomes frustrated and gives us. Other levels, such as the jungle ball (Bamboozeled) are great fun yet easy enough for him to finish and feal quite proud of himself. My daughter is 8 and also addicted.

When the kids hand over the controls long enough for Mom and Dad we also have a great time. Prior to buying this game I would have guessed that any game which could hold my sons attention would be a little too easy for my daughter and certainly far too easy for myself and husband. I was wrong. this game is entertaining for the whole family with enough difficulty levels to hold the interest of all ages.

Yes the loading time is quite long but the fun factor of the game far outweighs this inconvience.

A must buy for fun family play.

I AM A MOTHER OF TWO 13 YEAR OLD BOYS. BELIEVE IT OR NOT I ACTUALY PLAY VIDEO GAMES WITH THEM. I HAVE ENJOYED CRASH FOR YEARS NOW, ALWAYS LOOKING FORWARD TO PURHCASING CRASH 1, 2, AND 3. WHEN PLAYSTATION 2 CAME OUT, I COULDN'T WAIT TO PURCHASE CRASH. BOY WAS I DISAPPPOINTED AND SO ARE MY TWINS.
THIS GAME HAS THE SLOWEST LOADING PROCESS I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! IT IS ACTUALLY FRUSTRATING TO WAIT FOR THE GAME TO LOAD FOR EVERY SINGLE LEVEL. THE GRAPHICS ARE GREAT BUT EVEN THE LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY HAS DECREASED. I PLAYED ON LEVEL WITHOUT EVEN JUMPING OR KILLING A VILLAIN. IT IS SO BORING AND IT SEEMS THAT THEY CREATED THIS CRASH FOR CHILDREN UNDER 5 TO PLAY.
WHAT HAPPENED TO NAUGHTY DOG? WHAT HAPPENED TO CRASH? IF YOU ARE OLDER THAN 5 YOU WILL NOT ENJOY THIS GAME, I GUARENTEE IT!

I love bandicoot! That said, I thought I would turn into an old coot by the time the individual scenes loaded....Loading....Loading...Loading...get up and go make yourself a sandwich, come back later and still Loading...Loading...Loading...
Seriously the game is fun..lots of different worlds to explore and some of the bosses are really tough. But equally as serious, my wife and I would start a world loading and then go to the kitchen to get a drink while we waited. This is why I rate the game as fun, but overall only 3 stars due to the long load times.

THIS GAME WAS SO BORING AND TOOK FOREVER TO LOAD.THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST BORING GAMES NAUGHTY DOG HAS EVER MADE.THIS CRASH BANDICOOT IS TOO HARD AND IMPOSSIBLE TO BEAT.THEY NEED TO MAKE IT EASIER .ALSO ITS NOT THAT GOOD LOOKING.FOR THE PLAYSTATION 2 I THOUGHT IT WOULD LOOK GOOD BUT ITS NOT ITS STILL LOOKS LIKE PLAYSTATION CHEAP GRAPHICS.WHEN YOU DIE IT TAKES FOREVER TO LOAD.YOU CAN TAKE A NAP AND IT STILL WONT BE DONE.THIS GAME IS NO GOOD SAVE YOUR MONEY BY SOMETHING ELSE ITS NOT EVEN WORTH RENTING AT A STORE.

Crash Bandicoot is a fun game! I've been playing it since the original one first came out. With the latest release, the graphics and sound are amazing. The only downside to this game is the loading time. But, it's still worth owning.

Do not buy this game. It takes about 5 minutes to load a level that takes about 1 minute to comlete!!!! The gameplay is aful. Due to many glitches and times when you die when you have never been touched!!!! The save feature took me about 2 months to figure out how to use and sometimes it doesn't even work!!! I paid fifty bucks for it when i could have brought jak and daxter or Crazy taxi, both much better games. I don't know how it got to be a greatest hit. I would give it zero stars If I could.
