everything good except it takes to long to LOAD.

every crash bandicoot has been awesome exept the one cause it takes so long to load. it practically loads to get to the loading screen. it is awful. the only reason i gave it 2 stars is cause the graphics and the game play. i was really happy when the came out with a new crash WHICH WAS AN ADVENTURE GAME UNLIKE CRASH BASH AND CRASH RACING. and since it was for PS2. i thought it would be incredible. why the heck the does it take so long to load. this is the 21st century and it is loading slower then sega saturn. dont get this game above all. it gets very tedious and boring.

ps. get TONY HAWK 3 that takes almost no time to load and it is FUN AS THE 3RD 2ND AND 1ST CRASH BANDICOOT. (if not more fun.)

Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex is okay, but I would not waste your money on it. Rent it at a video store. You'll probably be able to finish the game by the time you have to return it. The graphics are okay. The story is really corny. Save the world from these floating head things. Woo. The worst part of the game is it takes FOREVER to load. It gets pretty boring when you have to wait five minutes to play a level that will take you three to complete and then you have to wait five more minutes for the game to load you back to the warp room. Not worth the money. Rent it.

This game would be so awesome if there werent such long load times! I found myself waiting up to a minute and a half just to play a level. Travelers tales just horribly did a job with this game. And when I play it, it sounds like its eating my PS2 or something. if you have to get this game, get it for Xbox or Gamecube, cause with those systems you have noo load times.

Crash is back,and he is here without Naughty Dog. I had played all the crash games including Crash Bash. I had never thought that Naughty dog would leave crash alone,but they did.

Crash is back in the 4th installment of a very popular series, and may I say a good one at that.
I have played this game since its first release on PS1 and loved it ever since.
This new installment brings a little more mixed up fun than before. There are more vehicles and misc fun things to do. Like rolling around a level in a glass ball. Also graphically the game has really matured, smooth textures and no screen fade when looking into the distance.
Another cool, little thing is when you do a high jump with crash sometimes he will do an Air Guitar..."Party on Wayne, Party on Garth, aww right!"
Overall the plot is the same, get the crystals to stop Ooka Ooka and Dr. cortex. But this time along with the bosses you have another set of posses to deal with...The 5 Elementals! They are like Ooka Ooka in that they are masks bent on taking over the world and wrecking havoc along the way.

The cons I've noticed in the game thus far(And I hope this is it): The signature "Crash Dance" when completeing a level is gone. I assume that when Naughty Dog sold the rights they took this with them into the great beyond. All he does now is jump high into the air.
Also the controls seem a little sluggish, he isn't quite as nimble as he has been in the past, maybe he gets faster throughout the game as I haven't finished it yet.
And thats about it, over all a good game and I'm looking forward to playing it more and seeing what the rest has in store for me.
Buy this game and you won't be sorry, hours of fun, even for your girlfriend who hates your playstation.

This game is crummy! I was truly not impressed, but then again the only Crash games I liked were the original Crash and CTR. The game seems like more and more of the same old ideas that were used in PS1 versions. Blah.

Crash was really upset when he, Coco & Crunch has been kicked out from his oldest Company! Just then...the T.S. Trio asked how did Crash got fired? When Coco and Crunch told them so...and the Trio thought up newer series using Crash Bandicoot to start with. Crash was alot better with the Trio fore he came to tha Spotlight! The new series are:

Crash Bandicoot 7: Cortex Returns!
Crash Bandicoot 8: Wrath of Cortex II
Crash Bandicoot 9: N-Tranced to the Lin-Zy Bonsai
Crash Bandicoot 10: N-Trance's Huge Adventure
Crash Bandicoot 11: Nitro-Kart BASH!!
Crash Bandicoot 12: Revenge of the Sister Trio

This Game was terrible. The only new thing about this game was that Coco was fully playable but you don't get to play as her very often anyway.

Here's an overall view of the game:

The Positives:
-Good Graphics
-Good Bosses
-New Vehicles

The Negatives:
-Sucky Levels!
-Sucky Music
-It takes about a hour to load
-The Game is extremly hard

I heard there is a new Crash coming out later this year. All I can say is that I hope it will be good.

this is a realy good game, although there is one thing probably everyone noticed including me, it's loading times. This gam has to load to load to load. Don't get me wrong it's a realy good game exept for that one thing.
