i really liked one n two n 3 was not that bad but 4 is supposed 2 b the best i want this bcuz i cant spend over 45 more bucks very good

I bought this game not to long after it came out. I own all of the Twisted Metal games, and TM4 was good but not as good as TM 1&2. The game play was really awesome, and easy to control although i thought they could of had a more creative sound track. All in all the game was awesome. If anyone is new to Twisted Metal, buy the newest game called Twisted Metal small brawl. It has the same game play as 1&2, but you get to destroy r/c cars instead. If your like me and you got to own all of the twisted metal games. I would recomend buying this used if you can find it. Because you still get the game and u can buy small brawl to.

Well, the game was pretty decent. The gameplay itself was outstanding, but there's a reason I gave this game only 3 stars. The graphics [stunk], and plus there were some major glitches in the system that you couldn't ignore. For example: One of the cars that I had chose to do combat with had literally gone through a wall. It wasn't supposed to be part of the gameplay, of course, but it was a major glitch. And let me say that your car isn't gonna go flying through walls just once, it's also gonna ruin the gameplay for you because it could screw up your tactics. The game was ok, but like I said, the graphics were awful. Playstation can do better with graphics. These graphics look like a glitchy japanese anime wanna be which was created on Super Nintendo, and for a playstation game, that's just sad.
Also, no storyline. It was just a senseless blow 'em and shoot 'em up. Not that I don't like that, but I want a reason for all that. Even if the plot was shallow, I still would've accepted it, because atleast it would've had a story and a plot. Anyways, I don't think this game is really worth the money. Also, the camera angles are unpredictable and they aren't very good, since you can get blown to smitherenes within three seconds.

hi the reason i gave the game 0 stars is cuz,i dont have it yet i just saw the screen shot's and by the looks of it this game look's awsome! I saw it on a page in a k.b toy's magazine that my aunt was reading and i told her thats what i wanted cuz i saw the ad for it on tv and it looked awsome,any way do u know what this game is like? It's like starwars:demolition wich is another awsome ps game it's just like that cuz in demoltion u go around hunting your enemy's in a big arena and u fight em,well any way i cant wait till xmas and see if she bought it,seeya till then.

p.s by the way that creat car look's awsome!

TWISTED METAL 4...such a game makes me sad.First of all,the game has nice graphics and sound effects,and the levels look really cool.Still,several factors totally ruin this TM game.#1-Gameplay.Your missiles and bombs do very little damage,and miss lots.#2-Car Design.Who wants DRAG QUEEN,for crying out loud!?!#3-Controls are itchy and twichy.

Not as good as twisted metal 2 or twisted metal black. Did anyone notice the poster of a naked girl in the stage where you fight in the kids room and it has the hot wheel tracks? There is a poster on the wall somewhere of a nude girl. Anyway, good game.

Solid Car Combat Game

I am the proud owner of Twisted Metal's 1-4. I can honestly say this series is the best car combat series ever made. While TM 1-2 were slightly different from 3 and 4 because of the developers, 4 still provides the adrenaline rush that reminds me of the good old days. Sweet Tooth is still around of course, this time not a playable character, but as the 'Wishmaster" and final boss. The graphics are alright, but lack in the multiplayer department. The soundtrack is good, and the option to play as Rob Zombie is very humorous. For any Tm fan I urge you to pick this up. If you're not willing to take the risk of bad graphics and a new developer, wait for Twister Metal Black. This new PS2 game promises to be the best car combat game ever, and take the TM series to a new dimension. This game though is very much enjoyable.

Twisted Metal 4 is one of the best games I played on the Playstation. Good graphics, destructive vehicles, cool levels, and a car customization option is what each star represents. Minus one star for awkward camera angles and knowledge of special moves. This makes it kind of confusing because it would be kind of difficult to find your opponents and know which special move is more effective. Twisted Metal 4 is more fun if you played a mutiplayer deathmatch against a friend or you can work as a team trying to win the Twisted Metal 4 Touranment. That way, it's more easier to win in the tourament. Plus, there are so many hidden levels to unlock and hidden cars also which makes the fun factor higher. This is a game you'll either love or hate so it's considered a good rental and a possible purchase.
