Sweet gameplay

There are many fighting games that ive played including mortal kombat and street fighter but tekken is so much better. THhere are so many characters u can get and to many moves. The movies after u beat the boss with different characters are cool too.

I personally think this is the best playstation game they have come up with yet

This is the best, the coolest fighting game on PS1.

Graphics-10/10 ( The best graphics I've ever seen on the PS1 )

Gameplay-10/10 ( Mini games, hidden characters,finishing move combos or finishing one-hit moves. Don't worry if you don't like one hit finishers because they take some time so u can just stop them )

Music-9/10 ( Ha ha, rock n' roll, not really. But it is pretty good )

Moves-9/10 (Checkout the wrestler guy who has a jaguar head. Hey, it's a mask okay. Relax. If you like wrestling, then use him. Clothlines, snap suplex, throws, pildrivers, submisssion holds like the figure 4 leg lock, powerbombs and even the Tomstone Pildriver!Other characters also have grapple moves.)

Overall- I don't know, it's just awsome. The best game I have.

if u like arcade games or fighting games, I highly recommend this awsome game.

For those of you who have not played the Tekken game series, it is a 3D fighting game; that uses the same button configuration as Street Fighter 2 (Fierce Kick, Medium Kick, Weak Kick). What makes Tekken different from other fighting games are the moves, smooth animations and the cinematic movies for each character that is used to beat the game (you also get a new fighter when you beat the game), however that becomes the point of the game, seeing these movies. Each movie unravels part of a mystery (as to why your even playing the game). A person can beat the game in 20 minutes, because each fight only lasts about 20 seconds, so the pace is pretty fast and you don't need experience to beat the game. Unfortunately there is not much noticeably different from Tekken 2.

This game may be overly easy, but it's gameplay makes you never take a break! The characters are highly detailed, and the blood is more realistic than ever.Iv'e only played 2 Tekkens, but this is the best one yet.Fighting in real life is never like this!

This game is pretty much the ultimate when it comes to fighting. The only thing it lacks is the use of weapons and magic. Still, the amount of moves the game actually has is mind-boggling. I would be totally surprised if there were anyone on the planet who knew every move of every player. There's just too damn many! I've played many a fightin' games (Streetfighter, Mortal Kombat, Killer Instinct, etc.) I'm not exactly the greatest gamer around, but I know when a game has just too many moves to choose from. I would "guesstimate" that each player in this game has roughly seventy or more possible combos, moves, special moves, etc. that they can throw at you. That's just too many moves. IF YOU ARE AN AMATEUR, YOU WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME FIRST! THE LESSONS YOU LEARN FROM CONTROLLING THE CHARACTERS OF THIS GAME CAN BE APPLIED TO ANY OTHER FIGHTING GAME---GUARANTEED!

Tekken was okay. Tekken 2 was significantly better. But Tekken 3 is a tour de force for the PSX.

Tekken 3 takes place almost 20 years after T2, as the intro shows that, the background stages show that, and the way that some of the T2 characters (with the exception of Nina, Anna, King, and Law) appear to have aged. The characters look about as realistic as you can expect from the PSX, but still almost up to par with Tekken Tag Tournament and Tekken 4. All of the returning characters have tricks up their sleeve. Ther are also new modes of Tekken. Tekken Ball is basically a powered-up volleyball game w/o the net. Tekken force is kind of like an old side scroller action/adventure game if you ask me... There are no easy cheats in T3. What I mean by easy cheats is those press-a-sequence-of-buttons-and-there-you-have-it type of code. A must buy 4 any hardcore Tekken fan.

In this game you can pick a lot of characters from the other Tekken games and you also have new better players like Jin and Eddy.

Well, I don't own this game (or a Playstation) but I played it today for 3 hours at my friend's house (I got blisters on my hands from playing so much).
This is fantastic! You have to love it. In my opinion, the 2 player mode is the best (we were playing in teams of 3).
The main point of the game is to use different moves using the Playstation controller to destroy your opponent.
The characters I liked the best were Gon, Jin and Law. Gon is great because he's small and the taller character's kicking or punching always misses. Jin is strong overall, and my friend's nephew said that he's the best person in the game if you know how to control him. I can control him well, and demolished my opponent in 20 seconds (we were using the 50 second time limit in the 2 player mode). Law is a great kung-fu type of fighter and he kicks well. It's fun plotting the same kind of characters against each other - like Gon against Gon or Jin against Jin.
The other characters not in the main lineup are good too - we got Doctor. B in our game - but he's annoying because he keeps falling over - but he has some good moves.
The theatre mode is funny too - watching all the short videos on each character - my favourites were Xiaoquai (spelling?) 0 JERK!, that tree guy (can't remember his name), Bryan and Jin.
Also a good laugh is the ball mode - which is like volleyball except you're trying to take away each other's health.
I haven't played all the modes yet, but I'm sure I will soon.
You have to buy this game if you liked Tekken or Tekken 2, or if you like classic games like Streetfighter, or like fighting games. Fantastic!

This game can really make a bad day go good. As one of the best 3 games for the Playstation that I have, I can say I'm impressed. I am not very good at it, but a challenge always brightens me up. I don't like Tekken Force mode, a side-scrolling thingy where you fight soldiers with strange names like Hawk. I think I like Arcade Mode the best, where you fight, fight, fight. Really great game. I haven't tried the other Tekken games, but I'm sure that there won't be any other game of this series that can beat this dang fighting game. I bet nothing will stand up to this game that I like to call the Fighting Game King!!!

this gameis really pretty fun.The graphics are awsome, and gameplay is almost as good but not as great.I just bought tekken3,its really a great allaround game for playstation.Anyone who likes tekken should probably buy it at a well worth it price of about 12.00, to 20.00$.But you should probably(most likley)not expect to atomaticly be the best at this game,(i wasnt).Gameplay can be pretty tough for a beginner finished this game in about fourty minutes.You should look at my tekken4 review.i will put the#123 in my title. hope his was helpful.thanks for reading, bye.
