Syphon Filter is one of the best games I've ever played. Gabe Logan is one of the best game characters ever created. The story is involved pretty well. The weapons are superb, and the levels are absolutely incredable. Syphon Filter doesn't outlive Metal Gear Soild but it is defintely one of the top ten action games I've ever played. The graphics leaves something to be desired. Also the difficulty of the game is harder than it should be. Despite its difficulty Syphon Filter leaves open sequels. Syphon Filter is the best

This game is the best shooter for Playstation. I have a Playstation2 but i still have not seen a shooter for it that is as good as Syphonfilter for Playstation (or any other game sytem for that matter). This game is about 90% shoot em up, and 10% thinking. Go buy this game now. And you should get a mod chip, I have one and it lets you play copied games for Playstation.

You are Gabe Logan. The best of the best in a covert government agency. While on a mission to Costa Rica to kill the international terrorist Eric Rohmer, you discover a nightmare in the making. Rohmer is in possion of a geneticly egineered virus and is planning to launch a series of biological attacks. While traveling the world disrupting Rohmer's operation every way you can, you discover the horrorfying truth of the virus called Syphon Filter. It is the perfect biological weapon. Geneticly programably. What does that mean? Can't tell you. Have to let you find that out yourself.

A really good game with lots of levels an weapons. The only downsides are that everybody runs like they have a hammer up their... and some of the levels may be too hard.

The game is excellent. The plot is good. I mean, what can be better than a deadly poison killing people? But the graphics could have been infinitly better. The faces are flat, and have hardly any detail, and that is in the movie scenes! The graphics are esspecially bad in gameplay. The guns, well let me just say it leaves more to be desired. Blood is extremly fake looking, but there is tons of it! But the actual play itself is very fun.

Now for the sound. Music is okay. Gun fire sounds are awesome. But the one thing that could have been changed are the voice overs. As soon as one is finished speaking, the other one cuts in right away. Not a very big deal, but it wears on after awhile.

This game have great graphics, good game play, and a great concept. I wish there is a way to make it easier. It is too frustrating some times to constantly die so fast.

Syphon filter is a notch lower than Metal Gear solid. I mean,after a masterpiece like Metal Gear Solid, there is no way you can't compare any espionage games to it. The plot is shaky, and it's missing that smart dialouge. But it's a fun shoot-em-up game. So, by all means, get it.

Syphon Filter is what I call a game that was not worthy of getting five stars like what it is really getting. The game play drove me insane, it gave me a headache because it got to boring. I will say the creators of this game did a great job with the targeting system but everything else is not handled very well. The story of this game, wait there is no story it just talk about a killer virus. If you are looking to buy this game take some more time to research it and rent it. You may like the game but I will tell you one thing this game to me was a bust.

This game was fun the first few times I played it. After a while it started to get boring. It's just the SAME thing every level. Shoot the bad guys until you get to the end.You might disagree the first few times you play it, but believe me it will get boring after a while
