First of all I am a huge fan of Mega Man X (Who isn't?) I have every single Mega Man X game from X 1-7.Know I do not know why so many people do not liked this game! Its fabulos! The most greatest part of this game is the Nova Strike. I have also seen all 3 endings of X6.

Mega Man X6 just as bad as X5

Don't waste your time or money. Capcom ...has it become to known as has been releasing worse games then ever before. X4 was one of the best Mega Man games in my opinion and after that they have just gotten worse. X5 and 6 were obviously done by a different team of capcom then the previous games. Its not very mega man like if you have played mega man games as long as I have which is 12 years you would know what I mean. People who say this game is a 4 or 5 stars have no idea how good mega man games in the past were. Capcom shows once again that they dont use enough testers for their games. Its all about dead lines and getting the game on the shelf not putting effort into it. Mega man is dead in my opinion due to the lack of effort and creativity in their games. This game doesn't look like a mega man type of game from the game play and story line.

Megaman X6 is Awesome,when it comes to the story its kinda questionable,when their talking its like trying to understand Rockman,good thing they have subtitles.if you love megaman X4 and X5.This is a must buy for megaman fans.MUST BUY NOT RENT

After the events that had taken place in X5, a new enemy rises! In the latest chapter of the Mega Man X saga, Zero saved the Earth from the Sigma virus and barely survived the last fight - now reported missing in action! Now only X can find his long-time partner and investigate a new penomenon called the Nightmare System which randomizes level maps, enemies and multiple endings based on how well you played the game!

After playing a few levels of X6, I thought it was going to be the same as X5 -- boy, was I wrong! After playing it, I heard the introductions and the cut scenes after defeating a boss with original Japanese dialogue with English translations. This is a must-get for Mega Man lovers alike! By the way, as for the cut scenes, did it sound familiar to you? Well, if you do, you might recognize it from the same cut scenes they did on the 3D fighting game, RIVAL SCHOOLS: UNITED BY FATE.

Come on people it's Megaman!

There`s a reason why Megaman been around so long people,Fast Gameplay,Fun,and real Good Graphics! Game Features the Nightmare mode, Megaman with a Sword(Zaber),Also play as Zero(after you Defeat the fake zero).Megaman got new armors the Blade and the Shadow(run or jump on spikes)! Did i mention you can jump on the ceiling(you'll be hanging upsidedown)and then dash? Why rent this game? When you know it`s gonna rock?Bring in Megaman X7 on the PS2 It`s time to bring it to the extreme!!!!!!

This game is the best in the series, and the most challenging. The graphics and sound effects are better than X4 and X5. I highly recommend it.

Needs some work

I am a huge MEgaman Fan. In fact I got into the X series through #4 (I didn't have a SNES so I couldn't play 7, or the first 3 X games). The fluid animation fo the enemies, voices, and anime cut scenes had me hooked. Then when #5 hit we had voices in english, but not Anime cutscens, we had pictures and written dialouge. OK forgivable, now #6 comes out and what we have are Japanese voices in both the clips and enemy voices. This is like Deception 3 all of a sudden.
However through that little flaw we have magnificent gameplay areas. The levels are virtually the same except through the little Nightmare feature they will sometimes feature a little change in the level (jungle), or a huge change (recycle center)and so you have to go back and find more hidden surprises. Also you must rescue people or else little enemy nightmares will infect them and they will vanish or die (your choice).
Now the bosses. The bosses some are incredibly simple, or barbarically difficult. Once you beat Blaze Heatlix you can take out most of them though. Also these guys have no weapon weakness thus it makes the whole fun of getting variouse weapons pointless.
On a side note however this game is fun, but very frustrating. As a wordm of advice, don't even think about taking out the final level without the Shadow Armor and 2 subtanks. First boss alone will drain them.

I was truly suprised when I found out there was ANOTHER X game coming out less than a year after X5! I thought it would Bomb, but it turned out to be good! The Plot was really complex, and that got annoying... the bosses are really cool and fun. ARGHH! That stupid Mijinion guyis HARD!!! It is much better than X5, which all around STUNK! ( I don't care if you disagree,but it did) The there are two main problems, though... Zero is ALIVE!

SPOILER 4 THOSE WHO HAVENT BEATEN X5

Sure, Zero rocks, but really, he was blown in half in X5! If Capcom's gonna kill off someone, then make it for good! Another thing- like X5, you can go straight to the boss levels without beating any bosses, except for Nightmare Zero ( who is in any secondary area), and High Max. (who is in any secondary area after you get Zero) Then you will go to Gate's Lab! This game was entertaining, it was fun to listen to the Japanese voices, and pointing out the typos... but not as good as X4. It is definately worth 30.00 dollars. Well that's my thought, so where's my penny? What? NO PENNY?!?!?! MAN, WHAT AM I WRITNG THIS REVIEW FOR!?!?!

PS This Review may sound negative, but it was really good! I gave it a 4 out of five for the tiny flaws I mentioned.

I atually am one of those die-hard megaman fans. I love this game. This game is the newest addition to the megaman series.
The game is fun while challenging. I live for megaman. In this game the setting is three weeks after the Eurasia space colony crashed into the earth. A man named Gate finds a part that makes him all powerful. The part belongs to... anyway as in the other megaman games you have to defeat the boss.

There are 3 diff. armors to choose from (and 2 secret ones.) Also a new weapon to X...Zero's old saber!!! I must state that you should only play this game if you are a megaman fan. I hate it that people play their first megaman game and don't know who or what megaman is and say they don't like it.

This game is fun, but it was a little too easy for me since I am the best with Zero. That is why I gave it four stars.

Overall I think that this is the best megaman yet. I only hope they produce Megaman X7 not only on the PS2 but also on the PSX.

Oh yeah I also read some reviews on how they made this game in a rush. I think they made this game so good that it didn't need that much time. I also read the review that they put in GI (Game Informer) and I dont agree with it.

Also rent the game before you buy it. I hate seeing people saying they wasted their money on a peice of junk and never play a megaman game again.

Remember rent every game before you buy it you never know how short or easy the game is.

Blaze Beatnix is the coolest maverick I've ever seen.He's a phoenix.He is the legendary maverick of MMX6.Spiral Pegasus was the legendary Maverick in MMX5 and Magma Dragoon in MMX4.MMX6 is a challenge.Every 3 MMX games Is a challenging game...unlike MMX5
MMX3 is the hardest MMX game and the rarest.Collect all the MM games you can.....BEFORE I DOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
