MML2 is the same as MML except for better improvment on the graphics, characters, and story.Capcom has also added more hours to the game so you'll be playing with the blue bomber longer fighting new bosses, using better & stronger weapons and in bigger areas than ever before...Some of the old MML characters are back in MML2 and some new ones were added to spice-up the story...To me MML2 still has the same easy to use controls and It still gives you that I wanna play some more feel even if you've already beat it...It's a MUST buy

MegaMan Legends 2: The Legend Continues!

I bought this game the day it came out. I waited years for it! If you've played MegaMan Legends(1), you'd understand why. The game itself has a many new things, as well as a many things from the first game. The game control is still the same, and the look is also basically the same, so are most of the weapons. But your lock-on is a bit easier, and the plot definatly takes a bigger leap. The levels are also more challenging, with better weapon management. Of course, you can't forget the new people, both townspeople and villians! You'll find out all about the Reaverbots, Mother Lode, as well as the secret behind MegaMan's shrouded past... The comical Bonnes return (humorous as ever), as well as Glyde, and they also gave Bon his original Pikachu voice back (if you've played Misadventures Of Tron Bonne, you'll be thankful for this)!

Total Game Time normally takes about 16 to 18 hours to complete (that is, if you're doing your best and trying to obtain most items).

Weapon attachments include Homing Missile, Spread Buster, Drill Arm, and many more.

The game now features underwater adventures! Strap on the new Hydro Jets, and make diving fun and easy!

Not just one island! Now you can travel to Calinca (it SHOULD be spelled Kalinka), Nino, and Manda islands, as well as many more!

In all, I found the game a real treat. While maybe not too on the fast-paced action/exciting side, it certainly is a must to those of you who wish to see how the mystery unfolds... I have few complaints, aside wishing the Bonnes played a bigger role, and seeing the original voice actors for MegaMan (as well as some better, more acurate translations, which was my main quelm), but seriously, it is still understandable if you missed out on MegaMan Legends 1, but I would advise trying the first one first. That way, you won't be completely lost, and it will make the sequel so much more enjoyable! Be safe!

Very very FUN!

This is a must for any fan of Mega Man or really anyone who loves a game like Zelda. This game is an Action/RPG and unlike the 1st one it adds a lot more to the story and uses much more RPG elements than Mega Man Legends One. This game is longer than the 1st one and has many puzzles that you need to figure out. It's a really fun game and I would recomend this to anyone who just wants to play a fun game.

Good, but is lacking some of what the first had

If you have ever played the first Legends, then you remember roaming through one little town, defeating enemies, solving puzzles and helping others. Although this game does have better graphics and gameplay, you lack the ability to relate to your characters, which is a key element in the first game. When you help the little girl in the hospital recuperate from her illness by donating money, you feel good about it, (plus she gives you a piece to a new weapon). It's the little things like that that seperates Legends from Legends 2. If something like that doesn't bother you, then the lock-on system in the game will. When fighting, you can lock-on to your enemies. Yet when I was fighting a boss to a level and I attempted to lock onto him, I kept locking on to an anoying flying object above me. Unless I was a few feet away from the boss, I would lock-on to something else, which is another annoying glitch still present from the first game. With bigger bosses and better graphics, this game can be much better than it's predecessor, yet in gameplay and character interaction it is lacking.

one of the few sequels better than the original

first there was megaman. and it was good. then there was megaman X. it was really good. then there was megaman legends. it was so unfathomably awesome that if you've never heard of it, you have probably been living in or under a large rock.

Then, as if to say "oh, you think THAT'S somethin'..." Capcom released megaman legends 2 and minds burned 'round the world. Megaman legends embodies all that is the megaman series, in all it's 3-D glory

MML2 is one of the few games to deliver a good story, good graphics (for it's time, at least) and great control. megaman moves seemlessly, strafes, fires, and jumps. and it all seems natural. you use the control stick/pad to move, and the shoulder buttons to turn. it's a tad tedious at first, but it really works. you'll forget you ever said "that's the craziest control scheme ever!"

now I know you're thinking "but Ginzo, i'm a hardcore megaman fan at heart, and seeing the blue bomber in 3-D makes me wanna puke my guts out." Well, even for you, mister hardcore megaman-er, this is a great game. I reccomend this to anyone who likes non-stop 3-D run-and-gun megaman action.

All my five are belong to this.

Just when you thought that Capcom couldn't improve on the Mega man Legends series, Mega man 2 brings back the same fun and adventure of the first. All of our favorite characters return as we find out more about our hero and his hidden past. Giant weaverbots, more powerful weapons. Challenging rooms and obstacles bring this adventure to life. The question is when will we see the next of the series?

Pure entertainment all the way through!!

While this game isn't very expansive and doesn't directly tie into the Mega Man timeline, it still contains the quality that Capcom has always given its games! I'm sure there's a way to link it to the other series timeline though. Maybe there's something Capcom hasn't told us yet. Still, they managed to take a spinoff and turn it into a full fledged series!

First off, the ruin designs are excellent - maybe even better than the 1st game's - but not likely. A couple of the key mazes in this game involve backtracking to the same place well more than once, which can get tedious, especially when the area is filled with water or the gravity is heavy or whatnot, and it slows you down. Other than that, the mazes are flawless!

There is a slight problem with the battles though, and I'm sure those of you that have played the game have seen it - the 'Ultimate Technique' of locking onto the prime target and blasting away while running in a constant circle. It makes many battles way too easy.

The graphics have been improved from the last game. The models have higher polygons counts and much better coloration (something the last gamewas really lacking). The music is much better too, and not quite as downright corny as the 1st game.

The plot goes into more depth, too. It's very slightly on the darker and more serious side, and the characters are cooler too (Sera is the most unusual villain I've ever seen, but she's devoid of any and all emotion, and definitely the perfect villain for this story. What makes it better is that you don't see it in her until it's too late). The plot explains more of Mega Man Trigger's origins and even the reason why he's on the planet - I won't reveal that though). The game definitely has its lighthearted moments. The Bonnes are still there, which is a definite plus! There are some new pirates too.

All things said (and I could ramble on longer about how much I like this game), the game is definitely worth getting if you're either a Mega Man fan, or if you played the first game and then left in the dark on what the hell was going on. It gives plenty of opportunities for free exploration, and you always find something the second time around you missed the first time (whether it's in a town or a ruin, I gurantee there's gonna be something new to see).

Fun ,but fast

The first instantly got me addicted. It began when I, a 2D RPG player all my PS years discovered something interesting and amusing...CAN KICKING! ...Er..anyways...

Megaman Legends 2 has a greater plot then MML1 and there is so much more to do than hanging around at one little town for the whole game. You can travel to new places and gather items. What I was very happy about was how they didn't edit out/cut a lot of stuff in this game. For example, Sera's first...appearance... o_O; and when you get a peek at Roll and not only see a black-out. (You don't see her, but after she screeches, Megaman throws his fist up in a 'Boo-ya! Score!!' sort-of way. ^^;;

As for the voices...I could've hung myself when I heard poor Meggy's voice...he's now...Sailor Jupiter!! I'm serious! (We call him Sailor Megaman at my site now, lol!) But the others voices, I'm VERY happy they didn't use that (...) Bon Bonne voice they had for The Misadventures of Tron Bonne, but his original voice! (In case you didn't notice, Pikachu's japanese voice actress does his voice). And Tron's voice actress has improved too. She doesn't whine and screech as much as she did in MML1. Roll's voice has improved too, including the funny whimpering she does while playing with her food in the beginning.

All in all, I'm very pleased with this game. I've beat it about 6 times now and once you play through it once, it seems a lot more easier. ^^
