I loved the first MegaMan Legends, but this one is a ton better! Better graphics: MegaMan's laser blasts don't look like fake digital-style graphics anymore but look more realistic. Explosions look more realistic too. The characters are still boxy looking, but have improved a little. Better story: This game is even longer than the first and unravels a deeper story that also tells of MegaMan's past. More features: Your lock-on target actually "locks-on" to an enemy. The first game just allowed you to look up and find the enemy. It also looks like a target sensor(that's just looks SO cool!). You can finally use the anolog which improves the game a ton! You can travel to 6 different islands instead of just sitting around on one with your ship nearly destroyed. More characters also gives the story more depth such as Glyde, Klaymore, Bola, Bleucher, Mistress Yuna, Gats, Mistress Sera, Geets, and more. So you start off seeing Verner Von Bleucher's ship, the Sulphur Bottom,(probably worth millions)circle the storm on Forbidden Island. It's filled with reporters, but also pirates. The ship is then attacked by a strange flying Reaverbot and a mysterious woman who warns the people to stay away from the island(the story goes even farther, but I won't ruin for you). If you want to buy this game, I highly recommend you play the first MegaMan Legends because if not, you'll really be confused on the sequel. Buy MegaMan Legends, then get the sequel. You'll love them both. You'll really get into the whole storyline.
this geme is thigt.

When I first saw the game, I thought it was boring, but after I began to play it, I just couldn't turn off my Playstation! This game's just too good! Excellent graphics, good storyline, superb musics, absolutely a must-have for all Megaman fans.

In this sequel to "Megaman Legends", Megaman continues to discover the secret to the mysterious Mother-Lode . But the evil Bonne family STILL won't quit to put him out of commission and claim the treasure for themselves !! Although, the original is somewhat better, this one is actually a worthy sequel . plus, the BOSSES, mini-BOSSES etc. are bigger & badder than ever ! Unfortunately, this could be the last in this 2 part series .

I was surprised to play a Megaman game that sucked that bad! The characters from the original are still cool but man... the newer characters and the newer plot just make the game so weird. It is more difficult, more "beat around the bush," a lot more fighting which gets really annoying after a while, and too many things going on at once. If you like that stuff go ahead and get it. I was thoroughly disappointed when I bought this game... I thought it'd be better than the first. What was I thinking?!?!

This game is simply awesome. At the start,it may seem complicated and hard. But its fun more than makes up for that.Spend enough time, and you'll find great strategies.Like when I was around the third area,Manda Island,I found a technique to raise power, increase health, and make some good secondary weapons. And this game isn't violent at all.I recommend Mega Man Legends 2 to
ANYONE who wants fun,or a good challenge.
Fun but too short!

This game is so boring. The only thing that can keep anyone interested is watching the ending story. The new underwater ruins [upset] me. IT takes forever to move, even with those...hydro jets. If you played the original 2D mega man games, than this game is not for you.
I'ts all right, but the original ones were better

Okay. I've always liked Megaman, but this one made me think that megaman isn't for the world of 3-D. I mean, hello capcom, let's face it, Megaman is meant for side scrolling and it was a lot better when it was side scrolling. X's old friend,Zero, that was his friend in almost every game, isn't in it. but I will say this: It was all right, but I think they took half an hour into making this game, so they could just put it in stores so the world would shut up. Even though playstation is meant for 3-D, it should be side scrolling. then they could probably take out the 3-D and give it awesome features. I've bought every single Megaman game, even the ones on the old NES, and bought all of them on super nintendo, and on playstation, and nintendo64. But if they make it on PS2, and I know it will be in 3-D if they do, it should be a million times better than this. Save your money and BUY SOMETHING ELSE!
