MADE ALL LICENSE GOLD AND SILVER;AFTER NEEDED SURGERY PLAYED THE GAME FOR THREE STRAIGHT MONTHS SET RECORDS NO BUDDY WILL EVER TOUCH.BEST RACING GAME I EVER PLAYED AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND.BEATS NASCAR;FORMULA 1;TEST DRIVE;NEED FOR SPEED SERIES MUST HAVE!!!!!!!

If any one could simply see the introduction of the game without buying it would force shoppers to kick and bite to get it! These graphics are the closest thing to watching NASCAR races on TV I've ever seen. It is the most elaborate racing game on the market and having real cars and corporations was a brillant idea. I LOVE THE SPECIAL CARS!!! They are the best, excpet for the part about them costing $200,000 (in the game). And it is impossible to get the licenses!!!

THIS GAME IS FLAWLESS. THE GRAPHICS ARE SHARP & REALISTIC. THE CONTROLS OF THE VEHICLE ARE SUPURB. THE MUSIC FITS THE GAME PERFECTLY. THE AMOUNT OF DETAIL OF THE AUTOS, AND THE CUSTOMIZATION OF THE CARS EVERY MECHINACAL ASPECT IS UNREAL. I OWN A SPORTS CAR, AND AFTER I PLAY GRAN TURISMO I WANT TO TAKE MY CAR FOR A DRIVE. THIS GAME HAS AS MUCH REPLAY VALUE AS YOU HAVE TIME AND FRIENDS. YOU CANT TELL BY THIS REVIEW, BUT I HAVE ALWAYS DISLIKED RACING GAMES. GRAN TURISMO IS A KEEPER.

I bought PlayStation as a gift for my daugther... she was keen on this Spice Girls game. It's a long time to christmas (it was at least at purchase date), so I decided to buy a game for myself to play until the holy day. The choice fell on Gran Turismo and was well worth it. I have played it for "some" hours now, but I still struggle with the A-licence... a good thing though since it means that you will have challenges for a long time ahead. The replay-function is the best thing about the game... incredibly fancy. My girlfriend tried it... and she is as hooked as me. Her female friends thought it was hilarious. Our neighbours "borrowed" it for some days and almost refused to give it back........ need I say more?

Want to race? This is the game for you. The most realistic racing action available. Great graphics, realistic feel and control on the car, great ways to upgrade, tracks, sound, its all good!

Look for the release of Grand Tourismo 2. More cars, more tracks, more action!

What can I say that hasn't already been said before? Gran Turismo is the second best racing game out there, only surpassed by its sequel. It has beautiful graphics, wonderful sound and tight control. There are lots of challenging races and a multitude of cars. Plus you get to tune almost every little gizmo in your car.

If you are on a limited budget, get this. Otherwise, go for Gran Turismo 2 which offers even more racing fun but is basically the same game with extra features.

'Nuff said!

If you haven't added Gran Turismo to your Playstation heap, you better do it quick - your missing out on alot! Gran Turismo has a great selection of courses to try, liscensses to pass, awesome 3-D grahpics and 2-player battle fun, too. It is by far The Coolest Racing Game ever, and maybe even the coolest game ever! I guarantee you will love it, and will be hooked.

Super graphics, excellent price, Total realism. The only drawback is that the advanced liscenses are difficult to obtain but the game gives you incredible options. You must own this game!

Gran Turismo is the best racing game I've played so far. As you progress through the league races and get your more advanced licenses, you realize that having the fastest car is the least of your worries; you have to know how to drive it. In GT's simulation mode, your skill is even more important than beefing up the best production model you can buy. You will see this for yourself when your 930hp GTO TwinTurbo gets beaten by a 276hp NSX at Grand Valley Speedway II!

I'm not kidding when I say that I've tried all the racing games on the market, and Gran Turismo is unmatched in it's realism, competitive characteristics, and sheer "fun" value. There is absolutely nothing on the market which can compare, and I'll be the first in line when Gran Turismo 2 comes out.
