This game accels beyond any of its predecors in many categories. At first glance, the graphics are top-rate. Watching the replay is like watching a chase scene from a movie. The screen layout is unobtrusive, and the buttons are intuitive. The game is also challenging. There three levels of play, each one requiring a competency test. Finally, the game is deep. There are many cars, a many modifications, and a whole host of settings to modify. League racing, special events, and the test track ensure plenty of time on the road. This is very much like an RPG built around an intense, exciting driving simulator.
The BEST racing simulator ever to grace our TV screens.

Gran Turismo has become the standard in racing simulators. The range of tracks and cars that handle and look like real cars is absolutely awesome, the only game that can better this is the sequel and I can't wait.

I WILL TELL YOU A SECRET. IF YOU BUY "JAMPACK WINTER 1998" YOU WILL FIND A DOWNLOAD WERE YOU WILL GET AT LEAST 20 CARS, 1,986,000,000,AND GOLD CUPS ON ALL TRACKS AND LICENSES. GRAND TURISMO IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS AS FAR AS RACING GAMES GO UNTIL GT2 COMES OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i cant say enough great things about this game,iv played every racing sim game out there,nothing comes close!!!!!i just wish ford was a part of it.i would also like to see a track design option in the second game,??????????hopefully!!

This game has all the cars you ever wanted to drive but never had the money or time.Such as the Aston Martin DB7, and the Dodge Viper GT10, and my favorite, the '67 Corvette. This is a must get more car lovers.

Everything about this game is great, the graphics, music, control, gameplay, and realism. It tops every other racing game out there. But think of this, if this is great, just how great will the sequel be?
