A good 'Zelda' alternative

The Playstation may not have a whole lot of action RPG's, but Brave Fencer is one of the best. It's fun, addictive, and it's made by Squaresoft (so how can you go wrong?). The biggest drawback is the short play length (around 20 hours if you take it slow). It's still one to check out.

If you are a fan of Zelda and you have a Playstation, buy this game! This is a super fun game, it's not as good or as long as Zelda but it's alot of fun.

This game is very fun and I recomend it to all action RPG fans! It is much like Zelda in several ways, but has many new features that other action RPGs do not have! The voice programing is great! Each caracter as thier own personality and most of them are halariously funny! that was very well done! Pluse, instead of the " traditional sword and shild" Musashi has two swords. The game play hours are pretty good too! It probably takes about 32-45 hours to master. The graphics are pretty good! I never expected Square to come out with a "action Rpg" but hey, those geniuses had to make one sooner or later right? . It is not chalangeing enouph, so that wiped a star off my rating. But overall, it is a fun game, and I'm sure you would enjoy it!

i don't know how you people can insult this great game. you can't compare it to zelda, different sysem, company, and it rules. the age difference is a factor too. time spent on a game isn't everything. graphics, playability, and difficulty are the biggest factors. a great game. the best. as good as final fantasy . bye bye.

I am a professional gamer and this is the hardest game i have ever played, not only that, but there is rarely any action to it, so dont let the beginning fool you, this game is worth it if you are professional, i beat it, but not very many people have, ... the worst buy i have ever bought, so dont get it unless it's cheap

This is a good hardcore RPG I would put this on my top 10 best RPG list. It starts out sort of easy but it get's way harder the further you go the storyline is good. This would also be one of the hardest games I've ever played. I would really recommend this game to anyone that is at least eight and older. Unless you're are a hardcore gamer I would recommend this to anyone. I really like this game I'm sure you'll like it too that is why I gave this game five stars. Also the graphics are really good a the powers you get are cool. It is sort of flawed at the end but it's still the bomb, that is my opinion on this game.

Not that interesting or hard. The dubbed voices were horrible. I wonder if Square was aiming at their own sorta answer to the Popopocrois games or something with the SD designs and all. I think it's probably worth taking a look at, if you like square games. The whole, samurai dropped in the middle of a midieval fantasy world thing was a bit much for me, though.

Move Over Kenshin there is a new samari in town.

this game is fun and voice over is OK. Has a great story and is funny at times.I reccomend you buy the game!
