There is nothing that can be said of this game that is negative unless you deplore violence. Even then the game spawns both teamwork and individuality in the richly developed environment created by Blizzard in the D2 expansion Lord of Destruction. Although the two new classes are on fairly equal footing with the old 5 classes if properly developed there are certain advantages to the Amazons and Sorceresses

ok, why the low rating? Well, this game is extremely unbalanced. If you play this online, most likely the reason why u keep playing is that u r hunting for items to sell on ebay. This is truely sad sad thing to see. People now adays only play this game for its items, not for the game itself! well, the game dun have much of itself.

Online Players are rude, and they will try to scam you for ur account to get ur items. No security at all. People hack, duplicate items and sell it on ebay. This game brings out the worst in people. Play it if u r a fan of Diablo, the CG movies are excellent! But i won't recommand you to get to involve in its Multi Player option.

this game is really fun. if u where going to get a game i reccomend this one. my brother said this game [was not good] until he playd it. i also reccomend half life counter-strike.

I couldn't possibly give this XP a 4 outta 5, maybe about 4 and three quarters. I say that because there's not much to the expansion besides the new items. Just a somewhat short but exciting final act which concludes our battle against the last of the prime-evils. another drawback is the size of the game. for those of you without extensive hard drives, Diablo II installed with the XP will really hurt you Hard disk space. regardless of your choosing of installation size when installing Diablo II, the expansion will put you well over a gig of Diablo II things. In conclusion, this is a great expansion with a few tiny drawbacks. but it is great fun.

This is just a great game. It is way better than the original Diablo 2. It has a new act, which is better because there is less of a jump from the normal to nighmare settings, but thats bad for those of you who want more of a challenge with your character. There are also two really cool new characters, the assasin and the druid. Just a tip for those of you planning to buy the game, don't devlop shapeshifting with the druid, only elemental and summoning.

This game is great and is good for anyone who buys it.

Alright people. Im sure for all you buyers out there that are really hoping for the best in this game, right? Well im not exactly dissing the game or anything. Its just that after playing it for so long....and you have your "high level" sorc and all and you think it's "so cool"...it starts getting really boring. Yeah ok i love the whole new character thing. And yes the
graphics kick and all :) But isn't Diablo II already good enough? After you have beaten it so many times though, yes you are right. I would buy this game also (and i did) :) But nonetheless, this game gets really boring after a while. Oh and by the way, multiplayer is the only way to have fun for me anymore. I have met friends and some cool people which really is why i keep the rating at 4. Otherwise it would prob be about 2.5 :)

PROBLEMS WITH XP

Like many here, I had a great time playing d2. Perhaps like not so many here, I had a miserable time getting LOD to run. The box says that the game is playable in XP, but I cannot get the characters to run smoothly, and it's not the hardware (1ghz Ath.; geForce2 GTS; 256K RAM). D2 seems to run fine in XP, but both the cinematics and the game for LOD don't work. Blizzard's technical support on this issue is underwhelming. For the five seconds that the game worked before it froze, though, it looked like it might have had some potential.

What a game. It just keeps on giving. Updated version of D&D with duh awesome graphics. The weapons and armor you find keep brining you back for more. Load up on magic find!!!!!

A lot of things improved in this expansion pack. Bigger stash lots, kewler and lots more chocies on weps and armours. And two kewl new chars, the Assassin is most people's favorite, and so am I ;) GET IT!!

Addiction

This game is amazing. When the newness of this game wears off, simply go online at battlenet and the game is new once again. I won't go on about all the little details, but with 7 characters (amazon, barbarian, paladin, sorceress, necromancer, druid and assasin) and 3 different skill trees, you can create unlimited types of characters. If you ever get tired of one, just switch to another or research a new skill tree. Honestly, my girlfriend hates Blizzard and wishes this game was never invented. The only fault is that this game has a high probability of becoming addicitive.
