I love this game and for parents looking for a bloodless, non-violent alternative to Halo 2 can find it right here. It's definitely not your average first person shooter. It combines everything that's great about the sport of paintball into a game. (except for the cheating) The huge letdown that kept this game from 5 stars is the lack of splitscreen multiplayer. Come on Activision! What fun is a shooter game if you can't shoot your friends?!?
Rated on a paintball scale, it is the best paintball game to date. Rated on a fps scale, it definitely holds its own. I fully appreciate a game like Halo 2, but I think this game deserves at least a look at. At the least, rent it and see for yourself.
Wow...speedball.....

When I first heard of this game I knew I had to get it. The problem was in finding the game. Once I had it home I never stopped playing it until I won the final tournament. It was pretty addictive. To the non-paintballer this game will seem like another FPS. To the paintballer this game is awesome! You start out as a newbie with a paintball gun you would find at Wal-Mart. As you play you get better and start winning some tournaments, getting money in the process so you can upgrade your equipment.
You start out playing in the woods. These woods are groomed, kind of like a speedball field. Soon enough all fields are speedball. The game can get repetitive though.
better than the real deal?

I give it a 4.5
This game is way fun for people who are into paintballing and enjoy it. I have been paintballing for 1 year and have a Spyder Imagine. But I loved this game from the time I played it to the time I beat it. I only wish it had a regular multiplayer mode. Instead of System Link or XBox Live, That's all I'd like to have changed to the game, I liked playing with real people like Greg Hastings, Keely Watson, etc. I would highly recomend this to everyone who likes fastpaced, adreneline filled, shooter games. And if you really like the game, then hey, go out and give real paintballing a try, I'm sure you'll love it.
Great Game

This game is great i recomend this game soo much. This game is so good that you get addicted to it. Its so addicting that you try to win the game the first day you have it. You can buy your own equipment and go into many different fields from forest to air-ball.
Buy this game and you wont regret it. Go online and play against players all around the world. Or go head to head with the computer in arcade mode.
Buy it
Could teach other FPS games a thing or two

This game is quite a surprise...the FPS action is better than it is in a lot of "shooters" where you are basically a mass murderer. The AI is challenging, even startling. It really is like playing against real opponents. The control scheme is just as good as Halo if not better, and there is a very strong element of fun that seems to be missing in a lot of FPS games. You really get into the tournaments and the gear and the teammates. I just got Chaos Theory and it sits on the shelf while I spend my time playing this and Phantom Dust (and I'm a SC fan).
GREAT GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What I like bout this game is that you get to pick players that you want to be on your team and you get to buy your equipment, like after you beat a tournament, then you win newer and better equipment. Also i like that their are lots of tournaments to play and not just like three or four. Once you win first place in a tournament, you are able to buy better stuff and get either novice, amateur,or pro teammates. They help you out if you really can't play, like me I don't need all of them.
Paintball is fun!

I actually just started getting into paintball and I think that this game is amazing, even if you don't like paintball, it's still a great FPS, there is only one problem with it though, it definitely needs split screen. I know it has Xbox live and system link but this could be the next best split screen game since halo!
