I really enjoyed this game, mostly because it was a cross of street fighting action mixed with Tekken style moves. Some people have said that its really repetitive, but I loved it. It was a lot of beat em up action with awesome graphics. The only drawback I could see was that the framerate was a little slow at certain points, but other than that, the rest of that game was pretty fun and flowed very nicely. The controls are easy to pick up, but if you really want to pull off some of the advance moves, you have to have really gotten the hang of the gameplay. The game system employs a purchase system, so as you beat more and more enemies you gain points, which can be traded in for more and more moves. Some of these are really hard to pull off, but if you can you score major damage, and tons of points. The graphics are spectacular, especially on the river levels where you can see waterfalls in the background. The AI throws a challenge at you, especially when a whole group of guys starts coming at you all at once. Sometimes it can get a little repetitive, but overall a positive experience. The game is simply awesome though and there's a huge replay value because there?s over a 100 moves from what I can tell. This game truly utilizes the Xbox capabilities and is a good pickup for your collection.

I almost bought this game, but instead rented it. One of the best decisions I've made! This game has horrible camera work (no control at all) and the button lay-out is also terrible. Maybe if it was made by a better company that has been making games for awhile it could have been better, but it would require better button layout and control and much better camera work!!

gliche galore

I bought this game the day it was released. I am a big Bruce Lee fan, but this game is a huge disappointment. I have run into so many gliches that it ruins the game. In fact, I am 'playing' right now!!! The last villain of this particular fight scene just doesn't seem to want to come and face the real "DRAGON" (are you listening Mr. "I have the nerve to call myself the dragon" Silverhair?). He is just out of reach although I can see him. There are also a lot of times that you lag while moving that allows your enemies to get a quick strike against you. I honestly believe that this game was shipped before it was truly tested/finished, either that or I just have a bad copy. The ONLY positive thing I can say is that at least there are nunchukus on certain scenes so you can leave knots on people's heads. After I finish the game, I'll probably give it to my cousin, whom I already advised not to buy it...for free. So please excuse me while I try to coax this last enemy to come and play...

SAVE YOUR MONEY! RENT THIS BEFORE YOU BUY!

I just got the game... I have been waiting for it for a long time, and I'm really disappointed. I've been playing it for about 3 hours. The game is terrible! I'm taking it back tonight to get something else.
Here's the breakdown:
GRAPHICS: These would be okay for a PS One game, but they're the worst graphics I've seen on the xbox. Period.
GAMEPLAY: Complete button-mashing. The lock-on targeting feature doesn't work. The stupid idea of having coins drop down that you have to collect to upgrade your moves is really dumb.
STORY: It doesn't make any sense. And the characters are ridiculous! Some of the worst writing I've ever heard in a video game. Which brings me to:
SOUND: The voice acting stuff is pretty bad, but I've definitely heard worse. The music sounds like that techno stuff from the 80's. Very lame.
OVERALL: This is a really weak effort. It's so bad that I'm not even going to keep the game, even though I collect Bruce Lee stuff. LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE. DON"T BUY THIS GAME UNTIL YOU RENT IT. It's really that bad!

This game is terrible.

Thank god I didn't buy it. I played it yesterday at my friend's house and it is really bad. I wouldn't even rent it now. The game plays like an old arcade button smasher but with really crap graphics. Don't even know what the story is about because it doesn;t make any sense.
Don't bother with this game. Buy DOA3 or something good.

I HAVE BEEN THINKING ABOUT THIS GAME. BRUCE IS MY FAV MARTIAL ARTIST AND I WAS THINKING WHAT IF THEY NEVER MAKE ANOTHER BRUCE LEE VIDEO GAME? TO ME THIS IS GOING TO BE RARE WHEN IT COMES OUT BECAUSE I DON'T THINK THERE HAS EVER BEEN A GAME MADE ON BRUCE LEE LIKE THIS. I SAID I DON'T THINK I WANT THIS GAME BUT I HAD TO RETHINK THIS. MAYBE THERE WILL BE A SEQUEL, MAYBE THERE WON'T. BUT ONE THINGS FOR SURE, IF YOU LIKE BRUCE AND WANT TO LIVE A PIECE OF HIS LIFE GET THIS GAME. YEAH, I'M EATING MY WORDS FROM MY LAST REVIEW BUT I'M GOING TO GET THIS GAME SO I CAN EXPERIENCE "THE DRAGON'S FURY".

Awesome!

I don't know why people hate this game. Sure the graphics aren't the greatest of all, but they aren't bad either. It's just an out-right fun game to play! What I really like is that you can collect the coins to purchase belt upgrades, strength, and other more powerful moves. My friends and I play this all the time, and we love it. I encourage anyone to give it a try.
