I like Mario Golf, WWF Wrestlemania, and Tony Hawk for other sports game but this is the best one. Unlike Cool Boarders and Snowboarding kids, this game has excellent game control, boards by lamar, and my favorite boarder, Ricky Winterborne. And the cheats are good, like Gold Man, Ice Man, Panda Man, and the Penguin board. So if you want a sports game, get this one!

Snowboard: A wide ski used for sliding downhill on snow. 1080 replicates this beautifully! From the initial set off you know your in for a fantastic time, with official 'Lamar' Boards and rad 'Tommy Hilfiger' clothes along with 6 tracks, 5 boarders plus secret ones and Half-Pipe and Big Air, this is special. The graphics, the first thing you notice are spectacular,Real-time lighting and shadows are employed in this showcase for the N64's power. Then the sound hits you with it's pumping soundtrack which just compliments the wonderful graphics. Then you realise how well and smoothley it plays and how realistic all the crashes and landings are. Now i've only just scratched the surface, buy the game and you'll find out about the 30 odd tricks and secret characters, it truly is outstanding and a worthy game to buy from Nintendo. P.S. the same people who made this did the wonderful job on Waverace64!
Fantastic! The best snowboarding game ever!

When my cousin first got this on his birthday, I was thinking " this is just gonna be like all the other snowboarding games I've played". Man was I wrong! With 8 levels of exciting, heart stopping jump, twists and turns, this is one game you don't wanna miss. It has all the best modes, Match Race
, 2 Player, Trick Attack, Time Attack, and Contest, this is one game that won't get tiring fast. Heed this warning:if you buy this game, don't go after the 1080 just yet, it's hard to master. What more do I have to say? Buy this game!

1080 is a pretty good game, BUT, it WILL take you time to master the quite difficult controls. First of all, the game is worth the money, but if your not good enough to master the controls of a snowboarding game, or just don't have the time, don't get this game. It is fun, but I got tired of it after I beat it, which isn't a difficult task to accomplish, and I can bet money that you won't play it any more after you beat it to. I didn't want to give it a five solely based on this reason, and this reason alone! Another bad point of the game is that it isn't fast enough for me, you dont go nearly as fast as you would if you were really snowboarding. The only time I would play this game anymore is in the dead of winter time, because then your really in the mood to play it! Go back and really look at what i've said, I am a critic/gamer just like you, and I look at these reviews just like you. I am sitting here typing this so you won't throw your money away on a game you'll get tired of after beating it! Rent it, buy it, I don't care, just have fun!
The best snowboarding game, hands down.

Without any doubt, 1080 Snowboarding is probably the best snowboarding game available. The difficulty of the controls are a little more difficult than other snowboarding games and may take a little bit more time to master, but it's well worth it. Landing correctly is also a little harder to do than normal.
The mode and track selection is very nice, offering a nice variety of tracks and available modes. The tracks offer beautiful scenery, sometimes very big jumps, jumping over cars, and a lot more.
The tricks and the stunts selection that you can perform is very reasonable. Although you can't go beyond 1080 degree turns, there are other tricks that you might not find in any other snowboarding game.
1080 also includes a Training mode, which includes two different sections, the halfpipe and a straight run with moguls. When you begin, you can turn into the left gate for the halfpipe to practice your tricks, or you can head into the right gate for a straight downhill run with moguls scattered all over. When you finish, you start back up at the main gate and you keep going until you decide to quit.
1080 also has a few secret riders and boards within the game.
Overall, 1080 is probably the best snowboarding game around, without any doubt. Would be definitely worth buying.

What can I say except for the fact that this is one of the first 3 dimensional snowboarding games to ever come out for the home console. Now, as one of the first genres of its kind to hit the market, you can't expect this game to be perfect, but it is an incredibly fun game. Now, the only lack I have seem to find in this game is the lack of characters. There is only about five of them. The graphics are awesome, considering how old and outdated the n64 graphics are. There are a lot of levels, all of which are pretty long ones too, as well as pretty challenging. There is a huge amount of moves in this game, but sometimes, this can become a little bit tedious. It is actually kind of hard to land big combo tricks, and the controls are frustrating for the moves. In fact, I have had this game for 6 years, and still have yet to pull off the next to impossible 1080. But if you are one of the lucky ones who are fortunate enough to still have a working n64, and don't have this game, than definately add it to your collection of antique n64 games. Not much to say about multiplayer, because it does not really shine in that area. It's just an addition to the things you can do in this game besides beat it. But after you are done beating it, it becomes boring because the only thing you can do after that is try to break your records and race against your friends in vs mode. Overall, I think this is the best snowboarding game to ever come on the market, considering it is also the first. Get this game if you don't have it. It's old, but fun.
