1080 Snowboarding

1080 is by far the best snowboarding game there is. It has many options (Match Race, Tricks, etc.) The graphics are very real and how the snowboarders fall are very real too. The cources are fun and are filled with challenges. Their are only a couple of minor flaws. The later cources are very hard to unlock and when you're playing against a friend, if he doesn't own the game, or if hasn't mastered the skill of snowboarding yet, then you're going to burn him. Overall though, it's a must buy for any N64 owners.

I am twelve and have never set foot on a snowboard. I'm a skier, well, sort of. I played nagono winter olympics because it had skiing and I was bored out of my mind in minutes. So I decided to rent this game because it was almost always out at blockbuster and it was not a new game. It is one of the best video games, all systems EVER. This game does not require any previous snowboarding knowledge. And it has a challenging one player mode and an excellent 2 player mode that doesn't get boring. It doesn't matter if you prefer Elmo's Number Parade of Turok 2: Seeds of Evil, you will like this game. This and Smash Brothers are the best multiplayer games EVER. You have to atleast rent it.

This game definitly fits the thought I had of a snowboarding game when I set out to buy one. The graphics are moderately realstic, the control is ok, and the sound is mediocre. I think they could of done a lot better job designing a game like this, but this edition suffices.

It is one of the only snowboarding games on the N64, which was one of the reasons i bought it. Another reason is the outstanding multiplayer coordination. I bought this as soon as I played it at a friend's house. You unfortunatley play with only 2 players at a time, but it is still fun to play your friend head to head. There are 6 courses, and under single player you can also do half pipe and air make. There are 5 characters that you can use to race, and more of which you can unlock. since there are only 60 head to head course combinations, there are other things you can do, like trick or time attacks.

This can take a bit to get used to, as it can be boring for the single player. If you have a will and a friend however, this game will surely be worth it.

The best snowboarding game ever!

1080 is a very great videogame for N64, I really like it. This game is very intense and fun.I think it is intense because you are racing against other great snowboarders and it is always close at the finish line. I think it is fun because you can win levels and do many tricks such as a 1080. The one thing bad about the game is that it doesn't have many snowboarders. This game also has good graphics. The reason I bought this game, is because I love to snowboard. Buy this game it is at a great price, trust me it is the best snowboarding game you will ever try.

This game is fun! When I rented it, I played it so long my thumb hurt for 3 days! Go buy it now or you will be stalked and beat down in the streets by faceless muggers who will then drag your body to the nearest river and "body surf"

WOW!!

Awesome game. Sweet graphics. Why wouldn't you get it? 1080 snowboarding couldn't get better. They thought of every trick in the book. Great courses awesome boards cool clothes. It's just like a real snowboading adventure. I love doing 360's and indy nosebones. It's the coolest. In the courses you go over bridges, through shortcuts and off cliffs and mountains. They have snowboarders from all over the world. You can try to beat a friend or try yourself trying to beat the computer going through courses in the middle of a blizzard. Two of my favorite courses are Dragon Cave and Deadly Fall. Ooohhh catching isn't it? I LOVE it!!!

Finally; a great snowboarding game.

I used to love this game; but now it's dated and now that I look back on it, it's not as fun now, either way, here's my review.

Graphics: 8.5/10. This is a more realistic snowboarding game, so there are very realistic colors; unlike snowboarding kids or anything with very bright colors. 1080 features very realistic physics and is very sophisticated. Anyways, the graphics I remember loving mainly because of the powdery snow. I liked to edge in deep snow just because it was it was so fluffy. For that, this game got what it got in this category.

Sound: 9/10. Whether you go through a foot of snow or right accross jagged ice, there's a different noise. There is a different sound for everything, which is strange because really for the most part in many games on the N64 there is the same or a very similar song for everything in the game.

Control: 8/10. Very, very realistic and solid, but It's frustrating for that reason. it is really realistic so you really have to land FLAT to get land, which can be frustrating for little kids. There is also damage; so if you get beat up a lot you will not win the race.

Fun: 8.5/10. Nice and realistic, great events, and different difficulties for every age and cool characters make this a must play for any owner of an N64.

9/10

1080 is one of the most realistic games I have ever played. You unlock secret cources as you beat computer players. You can go on a huge ramp or the halfpipe.
