As much fun as the Deluxe game for PCs

I have been addicted to the Deluxe version of this Popcap game on my desktop PC, so I looked forward to the Gameboy version. In fact, I bought a Gameboy Advance SP just so I could play this game while I am away from my computer. Bottom line: The Gameboy version is just as much fun as the computer game. The graphics and controls are perfectly suited for a handheld game. I can't wait for my next plane trip just so I can while away the hours playing Bookworm in flight. This is a must-have game.

I like the game but, once you get past 100k points, the game freezes up. Of course I cannot return it because the return time has passed. So BEWARE.

As an adult, I appreciate a mental game. This untimed game has the ability to entertain for hours. With the save feature, the game can be played over a span of time, which is great if you experience interruptions! Some of us are not able play lenghty uninterrupted games, nor do we need the added frustration of "hurry up or you die" games. I have had no problems whatsoever with freezing or graphics, and it's one of my GBA favorites. It's addictive and relaxing.

Like the box says, "Bookworm" should come with a warning label. It's one of the most fun games I've played online or on the Gameboy Advance. I first played it on popcap games Web site, but then I found out it was available for Gameboy Advance and I had to check it out.
It's virtually the same game as the one on Pop Cap. You try to spell words with connecting tiles without allowing any of the red "fire" tiles to reach the bottom of the screen. Seems simple enough and it sounds like you could go on forever, but not so my friend. Sometimes you just simply DO NOT have a single word any which way you try to spell them and you have to *gasp* flip the tiles, which automatically introduces additional burning red tiles into the set of tiles you have already. Sometimes you can pull it off and get rid of those dreaded red burning tiles, sometimes not.
Either way, "Bookworm" is an extremely entertaining, exciting, and *ahem* possibly educational experience. Plus, that little worm character that eats all the words you spell is so cute. And he burps after eating them! How funny is that?!
I would definitely recommend this for anyone who enjoys word games or for parents who want to teach their kids some basic vocabulary.
Wish it wouldn't freeze

I agree with everyone. This game is the best. I got it yesterday, and have become addicted. I'm glad it's a long weekend. Unfortunately, I am having problems with it freezing, and it seems to do so when I get a REALLY good score. Since many others don't seem to have this problem, I'm going to order another one, and hope it's maybe a glitch in this pack. You can bet I wouldn't order a second if this wasn't SO addicting.
Love the new features on Bookworm for Game Boy!

I'm an avid fan of Bookworm on the PC (and other Popcap titles) and am enjoying Bookworm on the Game Boy greatly. The color is clear and bright and the sound is just as fun as the PC version. The little extras on the Game Boy really make this like a new version of the game that I can take anywhere. I recommend it highly (My children recommend that I should get my own Game Boy!)

My youngest daughter told me about this game and I ordered off of Amazon back in April. Well, now I am addicted to it and so is my oldest daugheter that I had to buy another one. Its so good that my brother-in-law took it over and got up to level 30 with a score of 1,000,000 plus. Its not fair. Its my game and he took it over and now all the stores are sold out of it. Its a good investment. Believe me when I say it is addictive, but its also relaxing,
