It is like having a console game in your pocket! The quality of the gameplay is unreal and frame rate very good. A nice addition to the Twisted Metal series, highly reccommended! You HAVE to use the headphones with this one.

best car combat game

This is a really fun game. there are very few car combat games in psp namely burnout revenge, fired up (unfortunately only available in EU territory) and twisted metal : head on. I found both burnout revenge and twisted metal to really entertaining. the reasons to buy psp has increased because of these two games.

I've been looking for a game that is perfect for the PSP and I've finally found it. Twisted Metal is highly addicting and extremely fun. The graphics are great for the small screen and there are lots of maps to play against other opponents. You can even play against up to 7 other friends who have a PSP by going through the infrared port or via a wireless LAN. I highly recommend this to others who like first-person shooter games.

I have played all the twisted metals and this is one of the best. All the original characters are here including Mr. Grimm, Sweet tooth and now you can even get Dark Tooth! (the much better, bigger sweet tooth). Good levels, but the game is a little short and to me the last level where you have to kill Tower Tooth is REALLY hard. But overall this is a great game and having it on psp makes it even better. If you get a PSP make this one of the games you get!

I dont see how you couldnt like this game except because it is too hard. I have 3 games for my PSP. The games are twisted metal lumines and wipeout pure. I would have to say twisted metal is my favorite. You can unlock different places and vehicles. Everything is perfect except it is a bit too hard. I am on a part that i am having trouble beating but you should still buy this game.

OK...it has online multilayer. You can play wirelessly 3 ways. PSP to PSP, PSP to wireless base station to THE INTERNET where u can play against an opponent from across the country, and PSP to base station to PSP. I love battling people online. It is awesome. I hope they make "infrastructure" mode on all the PSP games.

Twisted Metal is Back! Blow Stuff Up!

I've been a fan of Twisted Metal since #2 came out for the ps1. Let me tell you, I was very skeptical about a new incarnation of the game coming out on a portable console after my disappointment with remakes for the gameboy advance/ds. This, however, was not the case for Twisted Metal: Head On.

The game play is everything you would expect from Twisted Metal 2 and Black-simply top notch. Graphics are even better than the ones on the ps2 (how did they even pull this off?) and the frame rate is smooth and perfect. It totally sucks you in just like the old Twisted Metal games did, and it also offers on-line play, huge levels based on TM2, and a solid story mode. Buy this game, you won't be sorry (my favorite of 2005 hands down).

After i read the reviews of Twisted Metal i was sure that i was gonna buy it, and its a good thing i did. This game has great graphics, especially when the ground is shacking. It feels like you're actually in the game! There are a total of 11 levels, but dont let that get you down! The levels are pretty complicated, and if the computer characters are easy you can always make the difficulty harder, even though the difficulty starts on medium. The bosses are especially hard. You can either play the story mode, which has 11 levels or you could do the challenge mode which is basically playing for fun, but dont die. The endurence mode lets you battle computer characters over and over again until you die. This is just Single PLayer Mode. Theres also multiplayer.

In multiplayer mode you can play against up to 6 people. You can even do the story mode with more than one player. You can play mini games and unlock new characters.

If you like shooting car games then this is the game for you!

Twisted Metal is a game I really enjoyed when I first heard about it on PSone. It was fun, the characters were colorful, and the game play was great. Now for Head-On, the first 2 are still true, but the last one is not. The controls are way too sensative. That is the only knock I have on the game. If your a fan of the game and have great hand-eye coordination, you'll enjoy it.

No Questions about it this is truley the secound best game in the twisted metal series.I had twisted metal for ps1 and i have twisted metal black ps2 they are great games but there not portable and you can't play with other players online. If you have a PSP i Recemmend Ridge Racer , Twisted Metal:HEAD ON , need For speed rivals
