I own MLB, Untold Legends, Need for Speed Rivals and Ridge Racer. Need for Speed is by far the best game I've played so far. Some say Ridge Racer is better but, NO WAY!!! The car mods is what does it. Their are so many mods to add to the car to make it faster and look better. The more you play the more mods you can get. It makes you not want to put the game down because you can't wait to see what the next mod will be. The graphics are awesome and also the sound. I've played this game for about 15 hours and there's so much more left. I highly recommend this game.
P.S. MLB is great also. =)

While you may want to wait for Midnight Club PSP, (comes out 6/14), this game will appeal to a street racing fan or even maybe a casual racer. There are over 60 cars and graphics are very much like Juiced, a game for PS2. They have added 2 cars to this game and now have over 60 very different cars that you can fully customize. This game has a good career mode. One thing that was an improvement from NFSU2 on the consoles was all the extra driving around. For people who are new to NFS, in Underground 2, EA made you drive around the city to look for races mostly so they could show you all of the endorcements that the game got. Overall, this game is nearly identical to NFSU , but is in no way a port.

I received a PSP and this game for my birthday, so this is my only PSP game so far. I must say though, this game is very addictive! It's relatively easy to control without a steering wheel, and if you got the lines right it's pretty easy to win. I'm used to more realistic simulators like GT4 with my Logitech GT4 wheel, but until GT4 PSP is released, I will be playing this game! :)
Highly recommended, but be warned, it's addictive, and will waste a lot of your time!! :)
very good

this game is very good despite that you can't feel the speed in the moment of max speed, the only experience of speed is when you push nitro button. The music is too good and you can program your playlist.
Spectacular Game

yes.
Rivals is a great racing game in itself, but the fact that it is in the palm of your hands is really amazing. The game plays a lot like the first Underground, no free roaming, which is good, because you can get right into the action. In Rivals, you'll find some new features that are welcomed to the series... Like some more domestic cars, and wireless multiplayer. The upgrade system is pretty cool too. You earn "Upgrade Points" which can be used to buy parts or cars. You also earn "Driver Points", which are applied to your rank. I had a great time unlocking all the bonus upgrades in each of the games upgradeable categories. It just had me playing non-stop just to get the next upgrade so I could beat my friend. The multiplayer in this game is awesome. Every time you beat someone, you get a little "Stamp" saying that you either owned your opponent or your opponent owned you. I've played this game for about 40 hours now, and seems like I will play it for another 40. If you are a hardcore fan of the series, this is a must-have. If you kinda-sorta liked Underground, this handheld version will probably do it for you.

This game is really disappointing. Why? Because the controls are too darn twitchy, way too sensitive. Move the analog stick a little to the left or right (by a little I mean maybe 1/4th to the extreme left or right) and the game behaves almost as if you're ARE turning to the extreme left or right (lock to lock).
Want proof? Go to the major video gaming websites (gamespot and IGN) and watch the videos they have for Need for Speed Underground rivals. The vast majority of videos show cars crashing into walls left and right. And keep in mind these cars are most likely being controlled by video game writers. In other words, not even these veteran video game players (video game writers) could control these cars well.
My other complaints with this game:
-The 'drift' races just plain s*ck. With the game's twitchy controls, doing 'drift' races past the first 2 or 3 is very, very frustrating.
-The upgrade system is very unorganized. When a player upgrades a part, there's nothing telling the player how the upgrade will affect the cars performance. Its a crapshoot.
-This game just isn't as fun as other PSP racers (Namco's Ridge Racer in particular). This game just isn't fast enough. After winning a few races, the game gives you the option of doing a 'quick race' in a 'souped up, maxed out' car. In other words, you can do 1 race in a fully spec-ed out car for a quick race- its supposed to give you an idea of what the player can eventually reach. But these races are mundane compared to the later races in Ridge Racer. Compared to Ridge Racer, this game feels like driving in grandpa's car (and Ridge Racer controls A LOT better).
My recommendation, get Ridge Racer (a very, very good game) or wait for Midnight Club 3 Dub edition to come out at the end of June 2005. Ridge Racer is alot more fun than NFS:UR and Midnight Club 3 SHOULD BE better than NFS (I have faith in Rockstar).
So Need for Speed does NOT get my recommendation. You should pass on this one (I'm selling my copy to some s*cker on Ebay).
